  1. I thought it was time to take the cover off and get cracking with the car. Finished of the lines for the oil filter relocation. Re-filled the AC compressor with fresh oil and bolted back into place. Fitted the aeromotive fuel filter, just need to finish off the small length from the FPR to rail next. Propshaft got bead blasted, re-coated and fitted. Underside view. ]
  2. Got one available £40 delivered.
  3. Glad to hear it, thank you for your patience and custom
  4. Got back from hol's last night, hope I haven't missed much? will be back with updates in the next couple of days. Thanks Mike, holiday was great but as usual didn't last long enough. Went to Dubai again stopped at the Atlantis, here's a couple of pics of the motors parked up outside. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149455&d=1333726133 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149454&d=1333726133 No trouble fitting them, once you get the floor braces in the right place they fit perfectly. I will post pics once I have fitted them. Thank's Colin. Please PM with any parts you may need coating.
  5. All the ones I have seen have been blue & purple, maybe they have been anodised.
  6. I simply masked the top & bottom line and painted the raised lettering with a touch up brush, easy peasy
  7. I'm off on my Hols tomorrow , so gave the car a good wash and covered it up so no updates for a couple of weeks. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=148956&d=1332795575 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=148957&d=1332795575 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=148958&d=1332795575
  8. Not posted the build on Supraforums, I may do when I get time. I was hoping end of March but looks like it will be end of April now.
  9. Thanks, I prefer the pipes as they are, as I'm not really into hiding everything. None of the hoses have been fixed into place yet, but will be tidied up at a later stage.
  10. Freshly coated buper reinforcer bars for sale. Front £40 each delivered. rear £45 each delivered.

  12. JohnnyG done the research into fitting a TB with true DBW to an aftermarket manifold. The Vette TB was chosen and worked great, so I'm going with Johnny's idea as advised by The Hodge Thanks baldy, the bracket is staying It would be a mess if I attempted to remove it. Thanks Mike
  13. Gave the gearbox a good degreasing and painted it in 2K satin black. Fitted the RPS carbon billet clutch and put the gearbox back where it belongs. Also fitted the manifold and TB.
  14. He walks like a robot, so there may be some connection there Thanks, It's coming along nicely LOL, thanks It wasn't easy chopping up a 2K manifold, but had to be done. There's plenty of clearance as I measured up about 20 times. I may mount it tonight and post pics later.
  15. I am making one out of 3mm alloy sheet with a rubber beading for the leading edge I will update in my project thread when I get time.
  16. Thank you for your patience as it took much longer than originally promised. Any future orders will be turned around whithin 7-10 days.
  17. Yes the welding is identical, you could never tell it's been tampered with
  18. Just a small update, hacked off the throttle body adapter plate on my Hypertune manifold Here's a comparison shot of old plate (left) and the new plate I had made to adapt the Corvette LS7 throttle body. I test fitted the plate first just to make sure there was plenty of clearance before completely welding it up. All welded up, got to say my welder has done a lovely job of welding the new adapter plate on. Weekends update will be to have the manifold bolted back onto the engine and I will also be fitting the RPS clutch and V161 gearbox.
