Hey Guys,
Took the Supra out for a spin last night to get ready for the meet tonight,
I found the there seems to be a huge amount of wind type noise from the rear,
why i say "type noise", basically its really low down noise and looking at the rear window (it had rain on it) there seems to be some vibration as well so it could be the noise from that,
I've also noticed
a) my handbrake lever is pulling high,
b) brake pedal is long
c) engine is boosting and sounding fine, yet it seems....slow !
I've checked fluids and checked the rear brakes VISUALLY and also just touched them to see if there was any excessive heat,
the discs look clean and shiny,
Could it be the following ?
a) slightly buggered calliper causing brake pad rub on a wheel
b) buggered suspension / mount / shocks causing the rear to sit down (or up) giving me high drag?
c) some sort of bearing problem
I'm going to raise each wheel and rotate them by hand to see if there is any resistance this weekend and maybe take each one off and look at the callipers / brake pads.....
any other suggestions?!?!
Regards....
