  1. wow, maybe just maybe its time to return ...... i'm away in may DOH and i'm selling the supra in June (for real this time) DOH DOH Glad to hear your back on the road Bobbeh, bloody coppers, fight some real crimes!!! Hopefully get to meet before i sell the supra. regards
  2. rather than pay all that money buying fog lamps and pads just take it to a different MOT tester, i have the rear reverse light converted to a fog light using a red bulb 21W and it passed last year (just) because some paint had flaked off the painted bulb and caused it to look pink , and this year i bought a proper red bulb and it passed with no questions. the guy is being so picky its untrue. take your business and money elsewhere.
  3. ...so the cops know theres been a loada car thieves in that area.... yes they dont sit there with camera's all night waiting for them nooooooooo there on the motorway bridge where they cant get hurt and dont have to get out thier car to nick ya!
  4. That gear surround layout isnt too different from the non trip ones, it looks as though you just shift right to get into M 2 L where as we have the MANU button for M and 2 L couldnt you check the part numbers for the actual autobox against the trip autobox - if its the same then i guess it would all be down to electronics ?!??! it would be pretty cool if it could be done at moderate cost!
  5. 1) Sounds dodgy, you can sometimes get a "squeek" from the aux drive belt, just replace it , doesnt cost much, 2) sounds normal to me, i get it on loose surface, or on full lock when stationary 3) the famous boot rattle......
  6. dont foget the delimit in the conversion...and... the correct feed to the power steering and cruise control and front active spoilter - they can all be a pain to change later..... its also important to know where the unit is that does all this, cos if it fails its a bugger to trace without taking off the dash panels......not that i've heard of many failing! Hey - you can have mine for 7900 (no offers) with everything already done - its a 93 though so preface lift .......oh and jap brakes :looney:
  7. sorry the link should be http://www.neweraimports.com/stock.htm happy hunting.
  8. One thing to be said for JIC when they were trading and I was looking for a Supra, they had a load of Cars in stock, different colours and specs and years and it was easy to decide which one to go for, even if in the end you didnt get one from them, at least you knew the exact one you wanted.... Most importers as everyone has said, seem to want you to look at 2 pics and a jap report and say "here you go mate, heres 14grand and i'll wait 8 weeks and hope its as good as the pics" Paul Whiffin, and try http://www.neweraimports.com, they have some in stock also....
  9. oxygene , your pm box is full, tried to reply to you yesterday!
  10. And what about those SPARCO harness pads? :D Get yourself over there and save some money now Justin!!!
  11. They do indeed, but you cant get quotes through there internet service you have to call customer services after youve entered in all your details etc etc they also dont class it as "TWIN TURBO" for any year or any model of supra, they are all "TURBO" i think (from what i can remember) they do know about GZ , RZ etc etc etc and you can pick the one you have

  13. I just noticed that statment ! you getting it put in? I thought the WRC version already had water injection? cant you find a scrapped WRC / 2nd hand parts for it and retro-fit it? that poor 2.0l engine, working its nuts off already ! :twak:
  14. *HOMER MODE ON* mmmmmmm Engine block eggs................ *HOMER MODE OFF*
  15. Interior retrim?? What gauge's are you getting - i thought you already had boost? oil temp? egt? ?? ? Sounds like its all coming together, youve had a run of bad luck mate , i think youve turned the corner ! (in 4WD as well!!!)
  16. ChrisR - I'm a respectable safe and slow driver, never once exceeding the speed limit - least of all on the A1M. Bloody government, i pay the same road tax for doing 15 miles to the train station (which i bloody pay through the roof to park at and travel into london) as some Sales Rep who does a gazillion miles on the roads, chewing them up and driving like a git in his 2 year old dented Ford Mondeo (and probably pushing up insurance premiums cos he eats his burgers and fries and make phone calls on the move and crashes a lot) ahhhhhh sweeping generalisation and rebelious government rant over....time for my morning coffee How the 4 Chris?
  17. ........... 510quid !!!!! including legal and full no claims protection. stats : 93 GZ TT ...umm unmodified (does it really have a decat pipe? i never knew, Officer! boost guage - i thought it was some funny clock - Officer.........Turbo Timer - I though it was a bomb, Officer!) 30 yrs of Age Peterborough post code 8 years no claims no points no convictions last year 730quid !!!!!!!! B A R G A I N !!! If only the car Tax on both my cars wasnt due also this month :-( oh - its with Elephant Insurance!

    newbie

probably because the could only store about 7 cars in that lockup at any one time ! the website seems a bit knackered at the moment, it could be just my connection though
  19. Neilsons blue rocks, I got a huge tin from Terminator, it really does remove those swirls and scratch marks and leaves a little bit of a shine, i also have Neilsons Gold, and although it gives a really deep gloss look to the car i find it takes far too long to dry and then get off, but thats my own opinion, others on this board find it great.
  20. get a proper 4wheel align done and balance from a good tyre place - cured all my handling problems
  21. Basically if you don't move the stick you shouldn't be able to break the box isnt that the way with a lot of things in life :-) :-)
  22. .... and the other question should be, should you take your foot of the pedal when you turn off the MANU button in 'D' in order to engage 4th gear when you are about to max out the revs in 3rd ! (this is with the o/d button OFF (out))
  23. umm i had this problem when i first got my Jspec TT, the garage flushed the water/cooling systems and refilled, all seemed to be ok after that.
  24. Now with the change if my lifestyle i guess i'd plump for a lovelly Landcruiser , 4ltr V6 with all the trimmings If i had my "3 years ago head" on........ GT4 - no doubt about it
  25. all joking aside i am not going to tonites meet....
