Got back home about 21:30, car is running very well so far. A huge thanks to all who've put in the time and effort this week : Paul, Ryan, 'The secret engineers', all of Whifbitz's additional fabricators etc and an extra big up for Dazza who without his spannering this week none of this would have happened ... lets hope we can put in some decent performances tomorrow now! -

Quick update... picked up head this evening. Daz has built the bottom end up, so head has to be fitted and a few bits checked before we can get the engine in. Head has had a lot of valve work done to it so cams may need to be shimmed before we go any further. Time's running out but we're full steam ahead to get everything done! -
Any preference? New or second hand? Rough price on what you want to spend?

Oooo shiney... I've also got some new perspex door windows to fit so I'll be chopping my doors to bits... What with this and the engine build to complete, theres not going to be a lot of sleep before the weekend -

.. depends on what you're using them for? If its for road legal then they're ok for now. If it's for track use these can be run down to slick.

You could always try the guy we use for the race cars : Triple T Services : 07909551284 (Richard) Very trustworthy and reliable. He has a 2 car transporter and trailer and can cope with very low cars (as he has to cope with ours!)
