  1. Forgot to mention .... Paul ( Whiffin ) is fitting an Apexi N1 to a friends car today ( hopefully ) so I can compare that to the Dragger if you want....
  2. Have had a Dragger for about 4 years - transferrred it from one sup to another as I liked the low profile sound so much. I've now gone single and it sounds awesome. Depends on what driving your doing... I hate the drone some of the other exhausts have - the Dragger is superb on motorways ... I'll be looking for another when mine eventually gives up... or maybe an Apexi N1 Best bet is to see if someone near can take you out... if you are or are going full decat you need to find out what the noise is like...
  3. Nice find - I can call off the search for better tyres... thought something wasn't right!

    which BODY KIT?

David, have you tried the US forum : http://www.supraforums.com Thought there was a big community of mkiv's Texas way, they should have better ideas on the pricing side.
  5. Thanks Alex, shame I can't read! - meant Ian C!!! Gonig single soon, and tyres need replacing - currently running Proxies which are ok - but start letting go at higher boost on twins..
  6. Alex , are the Pirelli's CJ uses PZeros or one of the many incarnations? Cheers
  7. wow - how refreshing to hear an educated IT person! Unix rules..... On another note... Chris - thats a top web site - I'm gonna be on there all night...
  8. If you do track days or drive country roads, the UK brakes are much better - especially with uprated pads, fulid and lines IMO. Really does depend on what you want to spend, but bare in mind these babies are heavy lumps of metal that occasionally need seriously reigning in when you get over excited.
  9. Yep - defo go with the suggestions above - I've used race pads and RBF600 fluid for about 4 years on tracked supras and never had any fade problems.
  10. I had a tesco car park insult... Dad and son walk past as I'm getting in the car, Son : wow look at that dad.... Dad : Oh - its only one of those toyotas... Me : ( watches as he heads over to his car... and gets in a Ford Probe.... and smiled inside ) Wasn't even worth getting upset about - just felt sorry for the little boy!
  11. Edd, try Mark Mayes at Millenium Personnel - I've known him for several years now ... +44 1883625566
  12. Sounds like a proble I've had for a while.... Changed plugs, resistor packs, new connectors on the packs. Tried all the diagnostic attempts on the twin setup, ran in TTC, changed hoses... still can't find the bugger. Only thing I can assume is that my pressure tank is loosing pressure between boosting. Do you get the same? if you stay on boost/boost often all is well, stay off boost for a couple of mins and the first full boost 'misses' then kicks in? Steve.
  13. Stav, Chilli's right - you need to try them both and really consider what you want to do with the car. I've had both, started with an auto which I had for 3 years - can't knock 'em - they're fantastic autos, you just concentrate on steering ! But then I got into track days, and felt the auto wasn't floating my boat - so changed to a manual - which is perfect for what I now wanted out of it. What ever you decide, take your time finding one .... ( as I'm sure others on here will echo :-)) )
  14. I've been there a few times, and it's fine. You pays for what ya gets basically. It's basic, but the guys organise a safe and well controlled day. It's great if it rains ! - as you get to try your handling skills on wet concrete ( part of the circuit ) It's a little tight for the supes on part of the course, but the rest is fine.
  15. I dunno whats more shocking , the state of it or the price ! (IMO!)
  16. Fair point Trev, what I had to get in there did rest up against both the front seats, so it wasn't going anywhere... Haven't put it back in yet, but I don't have anything in the boot either.
  17. I took the back out of mine and left the seat base in - as it weighs very little and keeps the sound levels down. I need to get something pretty large in and have left the back out since ...... Can't say if it makes any difference - but as a placebo it works :-))
  18. Thanks guy's - being a defi unit I thought it should do the job. Originally thought of a the defi gauges and a warning light on the dash, but this means it should be able to sit above the dash near the A pillar and anoy the hell out of me if anythings going bad...
  19. Has anyone got one of these or seen one in action? Don't want to fill the car with gauges - but want to know when pressures/temps are ott.
  20. Approx 7:15pm in the town square.
  21. I checked last week - can't remember exactly, but was around £65 inc. VAT ( Sounds about right with what merckx reckoned if it was exc. VAT )

    my car

Nankang - the 'ol screamer tyres.... get em on the track - you'll have a massive audience as you go round corners !!! - and they'll last for ever... I ran a set for nearly 2 years including 4 track days.

    my car

Steve - I don't think there too bad... ( opens door, steps back and waits for stampeed ) If they're 17" or 18" keep 'em for track days - then you can get cheaper tyres and enjoy it on track - not worrying that you're scrubbing out expensive rubber. ( thats what I do....) Also, as there are a few drifters using them, they may become worth more even after you've abused them :-)) SteveL
  24. These are my carreras fitted : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=38573
  25. Nice.... interesting front bumber - do you know what it is? Steve.
