    Bloody Cat

If you know someone with a tom cat - get them to give you some used cat litter. Put that in small piles around the area near your car in hedges or grass areas... it marks a territory that smells of another cat ( don't worry you won't smell it...) - should ward off the furry fella. And - get a cover - it doesn't just protect from cats does it.?!

  7. Cheers guys : IanC - pads are only about 1K miles old. Chris - From what I remember, the brakes have been the same since new disks a nd pads were fitted - I just got used to them. It wasn't until someone else drove the car an commented on the brakes that I appeared to have an issue. Digsy - Fooked as in replace whole MBC or just service?
  8. Does anyone else have any ideas / suggestions? Cheers.
  9. Hi Digsy, Tried that and all as it should be - so at least thats ok. Cheers. Steve
  10. Dunno if anyone has had this or diagnosed it.... Pedal travel on first push is more than on all successive pushes. No real difference in braking power, just pedal travels less. If brakes are then used again the same happens. Normal checks/changes have been done - fluid/bleed etc. UK spec front and rear, front disks are apparently due for replacement soon - but not significantly worn. Fluid is Motul HF600 and Porterfield Race pads with braided lines as well. Any ideas anyone. I'm considering Master cylinder refurb/replacement at the mo. Is there any other part of the system that could need maintenance/replacement? Cheers Steve.
  11. Blimey - never realised that these are so under valued. That being the case, if no ones interested in paying more than these offers, I may put the up for auction at the Wendens Ambo meet and donate the money to the Air Ambulance charity..... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66522

    Japshow@Pod???

I'll be going with Peter P , both from Saffron Walden way.... Any help needed - gissa shout...
  14. I recently went for a PHR stage 1+ ( which obiwan on here supplies ). The spool is very quick ( as will I'm sure be the same for all others running the 'smaller' singles ) - I've found myself still anticipating the first turbo spool, but thats only for about 500rpm. Whats more of a change for me was going from 1 decat to both decats and single at the same time - the noise difference is significant if your daily driving. Big prob is trying to choose - take your time and get the money figures right. I'm probably not the only one to have spent a lot more than originally anticipated. But, and its a big but the grin factor is awesome....
  15. Hi Jez, welcome to the club.... Location wise - have you seen this : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66522 Pop down and see some more supes if you can make it.... S

Theres the first 2 pipes that connect the turbos to the intercooler ( for a GReddy 3 row ) and other pipes all for the turbos. Also a 2nd decat pipe - HKS one used on a super dragger. Dunno exactly what there worth, so pm offers and I'll see what offers are in a few days. If anyones interested in saving postage, I can bring to Jap Show ( 25th June ) or the Wendens Ambo meet ( http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66522) Also got the twin tubbies with approx 65K on them ( JSpec ) - offers ?
  17. Hi Pete, keep up the good work... and I'll go for the power run as well.... 1. Peter P 2. SteveL All - Petes already put a huge amount of effort into this, so it would be a shame not to make the effort to come along... Not that its a golden carrot - but I can see a great opportunity to show some of the local 'car park' boys what real cars are all about... I'd love to see the faces on the nova boys when 20 odd supras turned up in the car park... :d ( I know - very childish, but sometimes the smallest things keep us sane) I know it would also be good to put a few names to faces as I've rarely had the chance to get to other meets and catch up with the locals on here......

  21. Yep all stock internals - thats why at the mo I won't be taking boost levels above about 1.7 for everyday use. No cams - may do that at some point.... want to get the thing blasting around some tracks first... Paul used to run the same turbo kit on 1.7 - 1.9 with stock - and that was used seriously on track at that level. There are some good kits out there at the mo, and some good retailers/installers ...
  22. You can tune for less .... but for the costs - you may as well have a little in reserve :-)) Click my link ( Oh errr ) to see the major setup.... It's rather rapid - I run most of the time at 1 bar, and occasionaly 1.5 !!! I can have it increased - to about 1.7 - 1.9 bar, but I agreed with Paul to initially set up to 1.5. It's using an Obiwan spec'd kit, which Ben at PHR has developed. Spool is excellent - hardly feels any different to stock low down, but by about 3500 rpm it feels and sounds like a banshee is trying to get out from under the bonnet. .... as with all the single guys.... you really need to feel/see the performance.
  23. No worries - as soon as I get time I'll sort out.... Mates car wasn't back yesterday - possibly today...
  24. wkdtime.... give whifbitz a call. They've recently finished mine, and they'll be able to give you an idea of costs. It's a PHR kit, which initially can look more expensive - but having researched this and talked to Ben at PHR it was they way I wanted to go. I'm running a safe 550 at the wheels, but more to come after a few additional mods. I can give more details if required - but Pauls better at specs then me :-) Where abouts in East Anglia are you?
  25. Yep - totally agree... also what you get from the boys is honesty, and backup. With these types of cars, things don't always go to plan... but somehow the guys always have another up their sleeves I'm sure PeterP will echo this as well after his recent breakdown that Paul/Daz helped out on. Keep it up guys....
