  1. I bought one 2 weeks ago from a mate who runs a fire extinguiser co. He supplies nice chrome ones for the blingy amongst us. I'll have a word to see if he wants to do a 'deal' on some... Not a group buy thing, but if anyones interested It'll be with me at Ace Cafe next week... I have a chrome 2kg powder. He advised against the halfords/small cheapies as they're not serviceable and need replacing yearly as they lose their charge! As it was a mate - I don't reckon thats just a sales pitch! and he already supplies me with other stuff.
  2. Hi Chris, Do floating discs have any draw-backs for road use ? Steve. ( sorry Wez for the slight hijack ! )
  3. I've had to do this twice now... not nice, Just remember the good times, and the fact that she had a good time living with you all.
  4. Dunno about what they'd be worth, but Paul's pretty fussy on fitment etc of things he supplys - so they should be fine. You could always PM him to ask
  5. See Nic - Import Pimp... he supplies upgraded horns and they are awesome.... you'll be driving around all day finding excuses to use it... Oh - and it's very simple to fit ....
  6. Sorry Guy's - couldn't make this at the last minute... Did anyone go?
  7. BTW - anyone know if Jo's coming ? ( Sexy-Jo ) ;-o
  8. Good man, another MANual ! Must catch up with you to see the work done ....
  9. New gear box ! ..... tell, tell......
  10. Hi mate, got a pair that will be up for grabs soon, they've been refurbed - painted black all over inside...
  11. Chris , I've recently started using VMWare and must admit its very good. I was sceptable to how well it would work, but in only a few weeks I've managed to get RedHat, Solaris, MS server 2003 enterprise and XP all running on an XP 'host'. It's not too difficult - especially if you want to keep your PC running Win 2000. Have a look at the documentation on the vmware web site , they give full examples of how to install a whole list of os's - in fact they have already got preinstalled vm's on the web site you can just download and run to see if you prefer it .... http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/directory/cat/45
  12. Thats a shame ... I was wondering if you'd be about ... I take it your getting ready for Ace Cafe then
  13. This isn't too far from me ... I may be able to come along. Do you have any details of the place ? - never been there before!
  14. Currently got FK 451's on the rear.... better traction than the Toyos I had on before.
  15. Lovely quality - must learn to drive without shoes on

    :(

Damn.... unlucky Nic, Chin up though - keep focused on a new plan to get her up and running again... the first blast when its all done will put the smile back on your face.
  18. Matt H, Michael.... Cheers fellas. the credit card sounds like a great idea - saves running up a bill for xmas !
  19. Really technical this one.... but I don't want to bugger my bonnet up
  20. I'm surprised you don't have a couple of pit-bulls patrolling around yours I've got a vented bonnet as well, and must admit that in the last few weeks rain it's been under a cover to keep it snug! To be honest - when it's been left out in the rain it doesn't look too bad - just needs a wipe every so often to keep it shiney....
  21. don't wash the steering wheel ;-)) I always knew black supes where fantastic to look at.... Loverly pics mate....
  22. Nothing wrong with kumho's - last well on track but are a little hard. ( can't have it all... ) Tyre technology has moved on so much in the last few years that the developments only take 6-12 months to filter down to the 'higher' budget tyre manufacturers - so last years tyre tech is this years budget tyres... If its V rated - it has to be safe to that level
  23. Make sure the ballasts are somewhere dry - I recently lost one of mine 'cos it got wet over a period of time and was soaked!

    JTuner petition

:( Got a letter from Jtuners publishers today stating that it's been chopped and subs will be refunded by 31st Dec.... Sad... It was good to have a second mag to read!
  25. Only other thing to do is use plenty of WD40 and a good quality screwdriver that fits properly - otherwise the screw heads will round and you'll be drilling them out !
