  1. ( in Homer-esq voice) Mmmmm Stock .... Very smart mate, and big balls :d
  2. or how about the 350Z ..... get used to it and then slap the twin turbo conversion on it! ~500 ponies
  3. Does anyone have a passenger seat frame bolt - for the rear tunnel side location ... I've lost mine
  4. As long as it accepts 15mm connectors, I'd look for the best size for the location you want to put it. Paul has a really cool one located on the top left of the enginebay and the sparco ones are pretty nice as well.... BTW - mines the GReddy one :-)
  5. Wonder where you saw one of those Mine was 15mm....
  6. Theres someone in a black supe almost drifting through there which could be you in 'rear tire destruction mode'
  7. Thanks fella - last one's me :d - shame I was only running 0.8 bar then! - wound it up later to 1.2 bar to liven things up a bit.
  8. you'd be a star if you have - I've never heard mine from the outside!
  9. My gearbox was getting tight towards the end of the afternoon sessions but loosen'd up again after cooling down a bit !? - maybe I need an oilcooler for it. No P/S problems though.
  10. LMAO - eyes were wide open ! - only tried that a couple of times as it was verging on complete wipeout. I was still in 4th!
  11. Yep - like I was saying when we chatted - I loved the handling on those accord's - not natural for a front-wheel drive. You would have had some fun through the twisties. As for the fuel - I don't want to add that up!..... In fact - I've just worked it out.... 30 gallons, 150 miles on track = 5mpg :taped: ( and I've adjusted for travelling to and from ! ) ... waits for the video with excitement :D
  12. .... and my first impressions of him where that he seemed so gentle
  13. .... I just like to get a feel for whats good for each of the corners! Yep the left corner which quickly followed the right hander after the straight - felt almost like a shicane I found out at lunch time that the westies were going through there at 100 so felt I should see how that felt
  14. Hi again, the whifbitz one was mine... glad to see someone got a shot of me. I think the supes spent so much time out there we didn't even bother with photos! ... Oh and welcome to the forum... if you post up vids you'll deffo make a few friends How did you get on with your car? .... oooo that sounds like a 'challenge' May I referee Definately think a supra day is on the cards - we'll have to all work at getting the spaces filled. Brunters, now theres a thought! I reckon I got 100 miles out of a tank in the afternoon sessions - I don't want to work that one out ! No probs on the shade.... I'd suggested to wifey we needed one of those for the garden, them promptly nicked it for the track day ... ooo theres the slap across the face with the gloves - turbos at dawn then ?
  15. Forgot about that... I kept slowing down and checking for pedestrians
  16. ...praying that the concrete section before the hairpin was grippy enough! Must admit I couldn't go through that left-right anymore than about 90! - It was a little unnerving sliding whilst trying to brake for the tight right.
  17. .. that may get some interest! Si - do you know how long the course was at the weekend? I was trying to work out how many laps I did, my odo showed I'd done about 150 miles out there !
  18. Is that my baby ?! - can't quite tell but looks like a vented bonnet
  19. Si, that is a VERY good price ! - £50 each for that kind of access to a track. ... or even £62.50 for 40 people ( or is 50 a minimum for base reasons ? )
  20. Ash - how are yer brakes ? Sorry didn't say goodbye... the base boys we're keeping me busy with passenger rides!
  21. Overtaking was on the right... which is why when F40 boy undertook me on the left I was gonna throw my helmet through his windscreen!
  22. I used it to cool everything down ! - each time I went down there at about 100 in 6th I caould pull 5-6 deg. off the oil and water temps! ... hows the wastegate? I didn't see you go so presumed you gave up towards the end?
  23. ...can I be the first on the list :) . Si - whats 'affordable' ?
  24. .... must admit I was kept on coming in and as soon as some asked if I wanted to go out I couldn't refuse! The car was running so well I didn't want to go home... I even stayed out until they threw us off The day was superb... big thumbs up to Si for letting us know about this. It was superbly organised and an excellent place to really push the cars and ourselves. ( I'm absolutely knackered today!! ) We did shame a few nice cars out there - the Supes showed the rest how to do an airfield day. I had a nice run in with an evo6 and a Lotus Carlton ( that white one with transfers on it ) and dropped both of them in the twisties Really good to meet the guys that turned up - we all had a blast... so anyone that didn't/couldn't go.... you really need to get to the next one! That F40 was a tw4t! he understook me turning into a corner - which would have been a meeting between us had I not seen him and backed off.... but he span 2 corners later so I gave him a wave .... but this was pretty much the only minor point for the day. R888's rock... I managed to get them to break away, but only under 1.2 bar and some hard exits from corners... there is no doubt ( as Wez says ) these are superb tyres. I overconfidenly went into the fast left hander before the main straight a couple of times and they progressively let go so that you could still catch the slide and get out of trouble. Good show from the club - lets make the next one absolute domination oh... and a couple of pics .....
  25. Rob, looks like it'll be easier to meet you guys there, otherwise we'd both have to make long detors to meet up... How was it today? I might bring a gazebo tomorrow for some shade ?!
