  1. Nice one Wez Paul, see if the rex boys want in...
  2. Si, I'll check with Paul/Ben/Daz etc to see if we can do this, we've got races the two following weekends - but this circuit is such a blast its worth the effort. Might even be able to get a couple of Rex's to come. Paul enjoyed it so much last year he 1/2 wore out a set of my rear tyres!
  3. subscribed.... might be able to get along to this. I'll see if Ben's free as well
  4. I'd go back and get my money, then call in to these guys and get theirs fitted : ... now thats how a v10 should sound.
  5. ... might as well get JD and the rex boys to come mate, at least they'll turn up for a track day.
  6. so only 5 out of 18 have confirmed.... Well, I don't feel guilty about not turning up for TOTB last year now, after getting flamed ! Thanks to Paul and Wez for trying to organise this
  7. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=172736
  8. ... woops - apparently not
  9. ... no rain-dancing allowed! I've used http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/ before, they're very good. I use them for my read insurance on the Supe now, under a 'road/rally' policy Normal track days would cost around £120 for a £15K car. There are others : these guys will quote online in most cases .... http://www.morispayment.co.uk/trackday.asp?prefix=ME
  10. Bring the scooby - you'll be able to show me where I went wrong ... just make sure no one sees you overtake me if its wet!
  11. nah - just bring a few pairs of 'incontipants' - they work very well and keep my seats clean
  12. If its a temporary job - just use some Duck tape. it'll cover the big square hole left by the locator clips as well The grommits work as well, but if you've got Duck-tape lying around ....
  13. Try Paul at Whifbitz ... I'm sure he fitted some the other day.
  14. Thanks, Theres a couple of lardy places still left in there, hopefully we'll have them sorted soon Hopefully we can get it down to sub 1300kg.
  15. Only 6 of the 13 left need to sign up !
  16. I'm in... 01. Wez 02. Paul Whiffin 03. ZS1064 + The Punisher 04. SteveL 05. 06. 07. 08. 09. 10. ... Graham, you can be thrown around if you can get the day off
  17. here ya go .... http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/msa_forms/bluebooks/complete_blue_book.pdf As Wez pointed out, club class don't need a cage - but if your putting one in then its worth getting it to a decent level. Cages with additional bends in them to get around dash boards are 'street' cages and I personally wouldn't trust one. I've seen the result of a flipped car and that front leg collapsed allowing the whole cage to be pushed down.
  18. He's just a very good weight judger ... bit ironic though!
  19. I love it when you bite the bait Must admit the rex was a little scary - especially when you went round the outside of that Radical in a corner at snetterton
  20. ... don't worry - he would have given up his seat! Anyway he's too scared to get in the car with me
  21. Ok guys.... firstly apologies it took so long! The car has been weighed - Without me or fuel she came in at 1338kg Half a tank of fuel (35 litres) = 31kg (based on 0.9kg/litre) .... so for the purpose of this little fun competiton the winner would be the one closest to 1369kg ... so looking through the thread, the winners are : GrahamC and marbleapple who guessed 1368kg Considering we haven't sorted out the doors/perspex for side windows yet I reckon we should be able to just dip below 1300kg without fuel. (theres also other stuff that could still come out - wiring loom and some interior metal) Which would be nice
  22. You may want to check the front legs of the cage against MSA regs as well. They only allow 1 bend in the leg, it looks like you have 2 in the pictures. (general specs : para 8 of competitor safety) Don't want you to get too far and have to re-do them (assuming you'll want to comply with MSA?)
  23. I'll be booking - just haven't had time to get on the phone
  24. May I start the list.... 1. SteveL ... bugger - Wez beat me too it... BigNum?? Ark??
