  1. I'll get my coat again! - Can't read for toffee! ... I'll reply to your pm mate
  2. Bugger - sorry guys, work have changed dates I'm needed for some weekends and now this one falls on the same weekend as this! Can't promise anything, but if work finishes early enough and I've got the car back from Whifbitz I'll still hack up there...
  3. ... bugger - it was a driver side but I had it 'adjusted' to fit passenger side. Oh and it was a recaro frame... but none of this help you mate, so I'll get my coat!
  4. Good luck with the sale Baz, a real shame you've got to let her go. Someone's going to get a very tidy car for a very tidy price
  5. I've got a bride frame for a recaro, don't think theres any difference in sides? I'll check over the w/e and post pics....
  6. .. by the sounds of the AE86 guys this would be a 'virtual touge'
  7. Hmm, tough one - two good drivers - kerb weight of 940Kg v's 1520kg - NA v's turbos - downhill with gravity working that lardy arse of the supe v's nimble bumble bee - loads of tight corners..... I'd say the AE86 would have a supe
  8. ... don't worry mate - I won't forget ya! I know what really happens in the workshop Top work matey, can't believe how tidy it looks in there now.
  9. I was initially unsure about this, but after a short spell on track found it much better that with ABS. In fact having now got used to them without ABS I find it better. I'd rather lockup and know about it than run off the track whilst the ABS tries to sort things out! It is rather hairy in the wet, but tweeking the bias valve allows you to get cool tail slides under braking:innocent:
  10. .... obviously my notes weren't good enough - this link shows what I was originally talking about : (for bump steer correction) http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0508_sccp_making_it_stick_part_3/photo_10.html Thanks Chris for correcting the other half of what I got wrong:) The other pic is quite rightly the relocated ball joint to correct roll centre and apparently camber curve as well(?) ... signing off and not giving up day job!
  11. Its from one of these : http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/features/sccp_0901_b14_nissan_sentra_race_car/photo_01.html (Sorry Ryan - we've gone off topic here!)
  12. apologies Tony (and well spotted) ... should have called these ... relocated tie rod ends that are adjustable to bring the control arms back into a closer arc to the suspension arms. I've seen them called 'Bump steer reduction kits'. (pic attached) Rose jointed tie rod ends on their own wont do this... I sit corrected
  13. your suspensions not hard enough ... don't forget the rose jointed track rod ends to reduce the bump steer as well.
  14. It doesn't come with fittings, but it is at the garage. Give Paul a shout - he'll be able to sort out hoses and connections and know more about this techy stuff
  15. que hablan español. es su primer idioma?
  16. SOLD Having upgraded to twin oil coolers, my setrab 34 row is for sale. This has been used for 2 races and 2 track days, so it pretty much new. Its similar to the ones pictured in this thread (they're smaller!) : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=177142 These retail for £150, so its going for £100 + postage.
  17. I'm on the essex/cambridge border near Saffron Walden, Ben's nearer to Bar Hill
  18. Yeah - I was able to put up with it for a while, but Daz can't Once we've got all the interior sorted I'll post up some pics. Hopefully it'll be quite a nice 'office' for the summer!
  19. Ah.. the Dazzer magic. Theres no excuse for me to loose a few kgs now! That loom will certainly tidy up the interior. Good work guys
  20. ... and I presume to make the 'research' fair I'll drive yours
  21. ... then we can see what differences there are in braking performance, as the Racepak's monitor lat/long G's. Unfortunately it'll also show who's the brake pussy!
  22. Nice... I'm totally comfortable with Daz and the cutter so near to the car just got to sort out some sidelights/indicators to make her legal again!
  23. .. nope - spectators are free, they only charge for track action
