  1. oops pressed send start again HKS exhaust +9 bhp HKS decat +8 bhp HKS induction +15 bhp total +32 bhp stock 220 bhp = 252 BHP :D for about a grand My car sure feels a hell of a lot quicker and has a lot more low down torque Torque developments site: http://www.tdi-plc.com/toyota_supraMk4.html#TOYOTA%20SUPRA%201994%20on%20(JZA80)%20WITH%202JZ-GE%20ENGINE%20(NON-TURBO)
  2. A NA Supe is stock at 220 bhp, however it is geared differently to a TT and is really really quick low down. Upto 60 mph a manual NA can easily keep up with a TT. I chose a NA as I wanted a manual box and couldnt justify the £13 for a 6 speed TT. Round corners and bendy B roads a manual NA will be just as quick as an auto TT. Naturally given the choice I would have a 6 speed TT but they dont exsist at £9K (price I got mine) Now check out Torque Developments, the UKs official distributor for HKS. The following HKS mods with power gains for a NA are quoted: HKS exhaust:+9 bhp HKS de-cat: +8 bhp
  3. When I did my 14.8 it was against a Skyline GTS single turbo jobby who did it in 14.0. When I was against the Civic Type R, I did it in 15.4, he did it in 15.2. Now this happened twice !!!!! And I got whooped twice by the Type R. Second time I did it in 15.4 again, Type R: 15.1 - he had no wheel spin. I out paced him up to 60, then he would pass, however at 90 (past 1/4 mile) I was catching up pretty quickly. Type Rs seem potent, 200 bhp I believe with no weight. Reckon they must be cr*p round a corner though
  4. Darren, 3 spokes = 2 less spokes per wheel = less weight :D :D
  5. Beat a suped up GT turbo, Clio Sport thing, V tec Prelude. HOWEVER  a brand new Civic Type R beat me
  6. 15.11 is good, to be honest I only managed the one 14.8, most of my other attempts were abouts 15.4 What revs did you use to take off?
  7. Did the Santa Pod 1/4 mile today. My first time. Kept spinning the back wheels and loosing time. Best I managed was launching at 2500 rpm (less spin) I got 14.8 seconds how does that compare to other NA's

  10. Dave just checked my Supe CD: 42 = VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal Diagnosis: open/short circuit, VSS or ECM Dont buy a speed sensor as they are over £200 and fault could be wiring or your ECM. The speed sensor is plugged into the gear box- try cleaning it - worked on my white Supe
  11. On stock 16s Toyota recommend 36 psi all round I found on my 18s, best handling is with 38 all round This has a hard but very controllable ride Any less pressure and the car seems to roll more
  12. Sorry to hear of your troubles Dave...............hope you get it sorted........ .....................Warrior in Ipswich can read the diagnostics if that helps
  13. I discovered Redline MTL from the USA in my MR2 Turbo days. Its expensive but worth every penny. Gear changes become smoother, slick and unnotchy. http://www.redlineoil.co.uk/
  14. An agent in Japan is offering me a RZ - hes dropped the price by £200 as the radiator is damaged- can anyone tell me the price of a radiator and is it a easy job to fit ???????? CHEERS
  15. I have a stock black dash and want a walnut one
  16. Now Ive owned a GT4 and MR2, both had luverly seats and moving head restraints that moved fwds and bkwds which really allowed you to be supported upto the back of your head, especially on very long drives. Now I cant move my head restraints.........solid-wont budge.................... Do the Supra head restraints move - if so how????????? if not why ????

  21. Si thanks for organising the day - best one yet !!!! Your car looked good clean, I always thought it was a shadowy gray sort of colour until today :D Was great to see you all
  22. yep, hes right, took under 10 minutes to fit- best to leave off the old washer plates for a snug fit
  23. Ive got a HKS hiper (approx 5"), when I de-catted the second pipe there was a huge improvement in torque. No more noise though
  24. Fitted a Cusco front strut brace today. If you are thinking of gettin one, stop thinking, GET ONE NOW.............. The car is far more stable at speed, virtually no front roll on round abouts; and as for going around sharp corners :D :D ,way improved, more tight, sharp and controllable. Got my Cusco front strut brace from Performa for £120, excellent mod, great guy
  25. well done Si, see you soon Trying to get Mr.B and Defcom to tag along
