I`d have to go on the net to download my firewall wouldn`t i? Or is there one on the computer already? And also how do i start in a safe mode? Sorry my computer skills and knowledge is particuarly low!

This is a long story but please stick with it. Oh and i have some kind of computer stupidity gene in me before you rip it out of me. My computer has been fine for a long time. I run AVG, Zone Alarm and BT Yahoo Spykiller. Then the other day my computer would not boot up. It would start but then it would just reset before it had booted up and would keep doing this in a loop. So i stuck in the windows repair disk. I pressed repair but it actually reinstalled Windows XP and wiped my whole computer in the process. I was not happy as i`ve lost alot of stuff. So i reinstalled all my programs off their corresponding CD`s. Eventually i reloaded my modem driver and BT internet software. I went on the net to try it and tried a couple of forum websites like this one. The computer kept crashing so i had to keep restarting the computer. It would only give me a few seconds window on the internet. Then i thought i`d better download AVG and Zone Alarm. Eventually it gave me a big enough window to download them. I ran AVG and it found 21 trojan horses which it removed. My mate told me to turn off system restore and restart the computer which i did. When i run AVG now it finds nothing, so i think they are all gone. But Zone Alarm is coming up with a red message every couple of minutes saying that it is blocking something. In two years i`ve never had a red message. My internet is working fine now until i click on a photo on like this website to open the photo or on links on any website and my computer crashes straight away. Anyone any idea? Avg and Spykiller aren`t bringing anything up but zone alarm keeps popping up red messages. Help, please!

Have you tried Elephant? They seem to be o.k on the price front although don`t think they are so hot with claims.

Cheers DB. It`s a bloody killer mate. Keep reading about people and their new cars but i`ve not even had anyone look at my car yet. Only Autotrader left now to advertise in which i`ll try next. My problem now is that the insurance has lapsed and i can`t afford to renew it so its going to make test drives difficult.

I had rust in exactly the same place. I bought another tailgate that was sprayed in the right colour. Find a spare tailgate like the one i have sat here and get it repaired properly and get it sprayed and then swapped.

Mines a black one and what i do is wash it and then rinse it off with rainwater from the waterbutt. You don`t even have to chamois it, it comes out looking perfect.

Just to warn you, my mate wrote off his car. We raped it of all the good parts. The insurance company had the car collected but had it looked at again. They noted that the air filter, stereo, exhaust, etc was missing and said that if the car was not given back to them complete then they would be knocking these amounts off the final settlement figure. To get round it he sold the uprated parts on an exchange basis for standard parts to put back on the car.

I`ve tried it but it won`t do it as it comes up with digital copyright problem. Funny that on my home movies!

Hi guys, i`m trying to copy some DVD`s for my friend. I have Nero 5.5. I use the wizard and follow it and its fairly simple. It reads the DVD to be read but when it comes to rewrite it onto a blank DVD it says it isn`t big enough. The blank DVD`s are 4.7GB. Is there any way with the program i have to shrink it somehow onto the DVD so that his DVD player will still read it? Any help appreciated but please keep it really simple as i`m particuarly dumb with computers! I`ve only just learnt to change my screensaver!

Don`t go KLM mate. I fly with them week in and week out in certain periods of the year and they`re nothing to write home about and particuarly awful on long haul flights. Heard good things about Emirates.

Just read your thread up and low and behold i see "skyline4sale" bloke mentioned in one of the links. This bloke mailed me when mine was on EBay to say mine was way overpriced and that he`d bought one the same for less off EBay previously, etc, etc. So i told him i wasn`t interested and thanks for wasting my time. Now the wanker has just mailed me because my car only reached £5100 on EBay to say "told you so". Tosspiece. Best of luck with the sale DB and hope you get someone genuine come along and snap it up mate.
