  1. Fair enough rob. I believe there would be problems classifying the imports. When I tried to insure my (UK registered obviously) UK spec many insurance companies would ask whether it was a GZ or an SZ... Essentially: Facelift, TT, manual, low mileage, nice colour, presumably almost FSH. If I didn't have one already I'd take it for £11k yesterday. (And you get a set of rear spats thrown in for free:thumbs: )
  2. Speedo, revs + others. any condition. Cheers, Nick
  3. Nah the boost gauge is the top right gauge next to the right indicator. Clock is same as mine.
  4. Sorry mate - don't quite follow as I've never seen them in the flesh. What are the EL panels - are they separable from the dial or is this just completely not going to happen? Thanks Already got the Blitz white ones!
  5. AFAIK they are not thatcham approved or anyway as they do not re-arm if you arm and disarm the alarm.
  6. Leaving work now so interactive helpdesk is closing!! good luck with it.
  7. Just wondering if anyone knows what makes the El Glo dials light up blue at night? I'm wondering if it's gonna be possible to make them light up white instead to match my blitz gauges. (if I can get hold of some that is!!!). Nick
  8. As far as I can see Thor only do stainless steel? Have e-mailed/PMed Miami-Gt but no response... Envy also do stainless steel only.
  9. Pref in white. Or details of somewhere I can get hold of some. Cheers, Nick
  10. Hi mate, Is that the red light on the alarm that stays on continuously. How long are you holding the key fob for when you say holding on? It can take 6 or 7 seconds to reset. Is the red light coming on on the fob when you press it?
  11. True, and you can build your desired spec online. But normally by the time you have added on Office and your peripherals it comes to quite a big number.
  12. I picked up my laptop on ebay for £350 - has DVD and CD player and writer, reasonable spec and storage, good speakers but can be plugged into external speakers like a desktop would be if desired.... So ebay's a good place to start... unless you want a brand new one BTW I've got an apple desktop for sale if anyone's interested. One massive thing to beware of is that loads of the prices do not include Microsoft Office and this is expensive!
  13. I had those rims on my first car - a Peugeot 306! In fact I sold them on ebay not long ago so maybe they are the same ones... Looked good on the 306. Look awful on the Sup.
  14. you do 30k in a Supra every year?!! you nutter!
  15. Right, a really interesting one this... so I've been going to Phoenix for a while now but one thing I haven't quite worked out is the best way to get there. I come from the Watford junction side but you can't turn right up Bridle Path from that way so I normally end up doing a U'turn somewhere near Luton and driving all the way back. Any ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. There's lots to read about Bomex originals not making the grade these days so make sure you read this when deciding whether to go for original or replica - think it's on the US forum.
  17. They're the optional Toyota ones. So bigger than the standard ones. Surely people have changed skirts and have spares of these kicking around... getting a single one could be tricky though!
  18. Good stuff - think my first cat's coming out then!!
  19. Hi all I am writing to you in order to announce that I am leaving the country, following as some of you know a difficult couple of years . I just wanted to say thanks for all your help and advice on the board!!! Bags are packed & I'm ready to leave. I would have liked to have had a chance to tell people sooner but an exciting new job opportunity was offered to me this week, and I needed to make a quick decision, in order to secure this position. I have decided to go & manage a football team... I have always secretly harboured such a desire, & I could not turn down this once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfil my personal dream. This brings all my leadership experience to bear in one fantastic opportunity that I cannot possibly turn down. The family will just have to live without me for a while. The team is based in Northern Brazil. This is a very poor & remote area of the country, with the nearest city being some 200km away. Communications are primitive by western standards, the infra-structure antiquated, & living standards basic. On top of this, the area suffers from Torrential rainstorms. Despite all this I am looking forward to the challenge ahead. One of The main aspects of the job is to stay in close contact with the team, day & night. We will adopt an Italian style closed training camp regime with no outside contact, except when playing our games. This will give me ample opportunity to focus on individual players and the team as a whole. I am looking forward to the close & intense bonds that this will hopefully create. Both the players & myself appreciate that we must be prepared To give as well as receive. There is no postal service, telephone network, or internet facilities, so I guess I'm not going to get on the board that much!!!!! It will be just me & the team, 24/7. If you are interested I'll attach a photo below
  20. Thought you'd like that one!!
  21. Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a local neighbourhood tavern. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the car park for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five vehicles, the man managed to find his car which he fell into. He was there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wiper on and off (it was a fine dry night), flicked the indicators on, then off, tooted the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few cm, reversed a little and then remained stationary for a few more minutes as some more vehicles left. At last he pulled out of the car park and started to drive slowly down the road. The police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and carried out a breathalyzer test. To his amazement the breathalyser indicated no evidence of the man having consumed alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the office said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the Police station this breathalyzer equipment must be broken." "I doubt it," said the man, "tonight I'm the designated decoy".
