  1. So options are: 1 An aftermarket recir BOV - not worth it 2 An aftermarket vent to atmosphere BOV - likely to mess up fuelling 3 An aftermarket part recirc part vent to atmosphere BOV - likely to mess up fuellin less 4 An aftermarket vent to atmosphere BOV with SAFC - unnecessary expense Conclusion: stick with stock for now Thoughts?
  2. Poor quality because was advised by one of the traders that they have had multiple problems and it is "much lower quality"
  3. Would be surprised. Theres a sheet going round somewhere that gives the sizes of both 17s and 16s stocks and the wheel sizes are as quoted by Jake.
  4. Because then, if you get a puncture, you can pay more to replace them.
  5. Actually didn't realise any of the J-specs had this but the VVTi does! Presumably that makes the BOV idea a bit of a non-starter...
  6. Have done the searches on these. Does anyone disagree? Blitz: medium volume, good quality HKS: medium volume, but squeaks Sard: loud volume, good quality Turbo XS: loud, low quality Greddy Trust Looking to fit to VVTI tiptronic...
  7. You've got one mate. Two might look silly.
  8. That's useful. I'm also after Veilside parts but hadn't seen the Nemesis site. I know fitting is a concern. Presumably not with the originals?

    New rims

18s. New springs have jumped to the top of the list! Although Nur-spec is going on on Wednesday.

    New rims

Yeh they are blitz Z2s. And I couldn't agree more with the need for lowering a bit - it looks like it's on stilts at the moment!

    New rims

It has only taken me 8 days since jacking up the car to fit the new rims!! I had the all too well known "my wheel nuts don't fit" problems!! but thanks to Envy for sorting me out with some. So here goes...
  12. Amsterdam's been done a few times by most of the people going so has been written off! Don't think can get a boat to Prague. Gonna check the stag weekend companies in the morning... At the moment I've got 23 people arriving at 10.30am!!!
  13. Gutted - supposed to be leaving for stag weekend in Budapest tomorrow morning but flights have been cancelled because of the strikes at Heathrow. If anyone knows anyone who runs any normal activities that we can do over the next three days in the SE eg karting/paintballing then please please let me know asap!!!!! Nick
  14. If I get a respray down the line I want to go for this...
  15. Definitely don't want any accidents!! Going in my parents' garage so should be safe... but maybe I'll put something under the jacking points just in case! Thanks for your help Merc
  16. I've heard performance tuners quote up to 37bhp but you can't be that specific with these - it depends on the car TBH. I squeezed a few extra out with alloy valve caps.
  17. Sorry, another quick one... Can I do the back and sit it on the axle stands and then just sit the front on the trolley jack for a day?
  18. Only that anyone who says they know what it means probably doesn't!!
  19. Merckx you are a legend!!! Thank you!!!!!
  20. Must remember to leave some of these axle stands out for next time my wheels get nicked. At a tenner a pair from Halfords they're cheaper than locking wheel nuts!
  21. I'm picking up some new wheels and selling the old ones all in one go at the weekend... Therefore need to leave the Sup without any wheels for a while. What's the best way to do this? Is it just to sit the brake discs on wood on bricks? Or am I going to mess something up?
