  1. Let's wait and see... (wouldn't put my Supra on us winning these days though)
  2. Cheers. As you can see, I'm still learning on the "which side of the car to take the photo from when it's sunny" side of things!
  3. Couple of pics now the Eibachs have replaced the old springs... Thanks to Gaz at Envy for supply and Phoenix in Watford for fitting (everything).
  4. point taken. esp having spent quite a few notes on the car to start with I don't think I'll play!
  5. I have the option to buy an SAFC II from a mate for pretty much nothing. I was thinking of taking it as it could potentially be combined with a vent to atmosphere BOV and avoid the problems that I would encounter with one of these due to having an airflow meter. The SAFC II is supposed to have a deceleration function that particularly suits a vent to air BOV when stock recirculates. However, when running WOT, my stock boost drops from 0.8 to 0.5 on gear changes. How does the SAFC adjustment work as obviously it is only in this situation (apart from the deceleration above) that I would want to adjust fuelling to avoid being rich on full power. The rest of the time I wouldn't want to adjust fuelling. Any help appreciated, Nick
  6. This has been discussed before.
  7. Tintacar are near Northolt/Greenford - just behind the B&Q which is on the left as you head into london (or just before the 50mph speed cameras at the footbridge if you don't know the B&Q).
  8. Run a search on "tramlining" and you will find most of the wheel/tyre size and width info. Don't think many people run the same with front and rear though.
  9. Yeah that was me - Didn't see you go the other way as I was talking to the police. There had been a shooting so the road was shut and unfortunately I was the first car they stopped as they closed the road. Then everyone queued up behind me so I was stuck there. The upside was that when they reopened it I had 5 miles of completely empty A40!!!
  10. Maybe it's because it only has one previous owner? ("Japan").
  11. Think the one behind me had a spoiler.... it was behind me for about 1/2 an hour going about 1mph so you'd know if it was you!!
  12. next to me yesterday evening!! What a nightmare that was!
  13. Thank you - will check these out and let you know how I get on and then post you up the address some time soon!!
  14. Hi, I know loads of people here have their own webspace which is why I'm asking your advice.... I need to set up a website for a sports club but am wondering the best way. If I buy the domain name then the web hosting charges seem quite steep. I think I can get it to then redirect to freespace...(?) And if so where's the best place to find some of that?!! Any guidance appreciated. Cheers, Nick
  15. I'm no expert and I'm sure someone will advise to the contrary, but I'd steer clear of spacers. My cousin had some and his wheel nuts sheared off when on the motorway - less than ideal.
  16. There was a thread a while ago when lots of people with UK brakes posted up their wheel types... Don't know if it's still accessible but I had a copy of it somewhere...
  17. I've had both a UK-spec and a Jap-spec and have enjoyed them both. I think the best advice I could give you is to look for the car you want (age/colour/mileage/price etc) and not worry if it's a UK or a Jap. The UK-spec was the only one I could get insured on initially so that could be a factor...
