  1. Did you sell this in the end? Am looking for a change and have Do Luck in mind... Nick
  2. Thank you Frank - will get in contact with Lee... it was indeed Heckler who did the conversion for me. Cheers, Nick
  3. Hi all, A long time since i have posted on here but would very much appreciate some help - I had a dash conversion done c.10years ago and the backlight has gone, which shows the buttons/fan settings... All the LEDs still work fine. Can anyone help with what I need to replace? Many thanks, Nick
  4. Sorry to be fair you are now also getting an extra 50bhp
  5. It’s gone up in value by £1,100 pretty swiftly. And the seller’s house commitments have been replaced by a desire to buy an r35...
  6. Hi all, have been clearing out and I've found the handbook, folder, supra authorised dealer list, dealer business cards etc etc for my old UK supra, which was a red UK spec reg C15PRA. Does anyone know where this is so I can reunite them? Nick
  7. Final bump for any thoughts or help on what to get ... Many thanks
  8. So it's the couple of amps that are in the sound system rather than coming out the alternator that are the prob. Though granted a couple of amps coming out the alternator would be a problem too! I was thinking something like 160amp...
  9. Haven't been on for a long time... I hope everyone's well. I'm about to replace another battery and think it might be time to invest in an uprated alternator. Im running a couple of amps and think thats probably where the problems coming from. The drain has been tested ie alarm etc and no issues there. Skimming through the US site, they're not very complimentary about the eagle ones on eBay. To say the least. Then again the powerhouse racing ones are pretty pricey at $699. I've been through the threads on this and there doesn't seem to be so many people who have replaced/upgraded and not much of a consensus... Any advice appreciated.
  10. ok and not quite dark yet but something like this with the lights on...
  11. Having had the RLTC digi adjuster in for a while, the hole next to it has never looked good... i've finally got round to filling it with a supra plate. Much happier now and it even lights up in the same colour as the dash lights! (pics to follow when it's dark). Also thought i should put up a pic of the Blitz style speedo, rev etc dials for the VVTi tip as I promised a couple of people i would.. Nick ps apologies for slightly poor picture quality (and scrunched up bit of brown paper under the pedals!)
  12. I used t-cut for a while on my facelift lights and the results were okish. Much much more effective (and seemingly much longer lasting) has been using Autosol metal polish. Prepare for a very yellow cloth as all the yellow comes off! then I finish off/protect with meguiars nxt metal polish. It only took me about 15-20mins per light and they look as good as new.
  13. I have a quick question on an interior light if anyone has a second to help. Basically in one of my radio din slots I have my RLTC digi adjuster and then a metal blanking plate filling the remainder. This has the Supra logo cut out of it. A friend was in the car the other day and asked if the (non-existent) light behind it was broken, which gave me the idea of putting a light behind it, and a blue filter behind the plate so it matches my blue dash... So the question is... what sort of bulb/bulb holder would be suitable/advisable, that I could just attach straight on to the ash tray wires - I think that is going to be the easiest place to attach to as the clock wires have already been hijacked for gauges... I was thinking about putting a few LEDs behind but am not sure whether this would be bright enough... Any help appreciated, Nick
