Sounds interesting but unfortunately im Supraless at the moment. I was informed on the other thread that converting a N/A Aerotop would be too much work. Im not to keen on turbo charging a N/A lump for many reasons so aswell as changing the engine and gearbox i'd be required to change the diff, wiring loom, ECU etc etc. It all sounds like a bit of a nightmare! It's going to be a challenge finding the right TT Aerotop but im going to make it my top priority. Surely in the worst case scenerio you could contact a agent to import one from Japland?

Thanks for the advice Darren. I've had many a nightmare when it comes to garages. I still haven't found one I would genuinely recommend to anyone! My next supe is going to be my pride and joy, I swear not to leave it with anyone I don't trust!

Hi, After establishing what route to go down building my ideal supe (Aero TT 6sp), i've decided to go with option 2 and buy a Auto Aerotop TT and have the gearbox changed to manual. The next question is........who would you recommend to carry out this work?? I know Dude's pretty hot with a supe, but with him being away kinda leaves me in the darkness? Im also looking for pricing on a Lambo door convertion. Many thanks

Problem being is lowering the compression ratio with uprated head gaskets etc etc. Then there's the fueling side of it. It doesn't really fit the bill when it comes to reliability and it doesn't really match up to a TT 6sp Aerotop. I did think about this option though before I sold my last N/A supe.

Shame I thought it wouldn't much extra considering the amount of work already being done. Does anybody have a good idea of pricing to go with option (2) ??

Cheers guy's That's a shame about dangerous brain, I was looking forward to seeing the finished project. Taking that into account I think we'll scrap option 1. haha, me and projects don't get on very well, I always end up with box of bits what look like they could be of some importance! Im going to leave it all to the professionals

Yeh I can remember when Dangerous Brain was converting his N/A Aerotop. It sounded alot more extensive technically.......do you know if he's up and running Aerotop 6sp style now?

After selling my Supe back in August 04 my life hasn't been the same and I've decided to live the dream again. The ideal supra im looking to either buy or have built would be a TT Aerotop 6spd but as we all know these were only made in the U.S so I was thinking what would be the best option? 1) Buying a cheap Manual N/A Aerotop and dropping a TT lump in with all accessories included? 2) Buying a UK or Jap Auto TT Aerotop and have the gearbox changed? 3) Has anyone thought of importing a U.S TT 6spd Aerotop (left hand drive) and get it converted to right hand drive? Im not sure if this is possible? Im budgeting aroung 15k so I was wondering what would be the most sensible option. Im toying with the idea that failing the above I might just go with a nice single. Hi I recently bought a set of clear glass headlights from the states. I thought i'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone when ordering my bomex frontend from Suprastore.com. I was told that the clear glass headlights were uk spec and would fit no problem. When going for the MOT i was told that the headlights are actually LHD and wouldn't go through. I phoned suprastore and they were actually quite helpful and said that in the worst scenario they would accept a refund (but at the same time suprised as i was the first UK customer complaining of this). Still whats boggling me is they say that the headlight adjusters are 2 dimensional being up/down AND left and right.........does anyone know if this is true.....will they fit Just thought i'd check first before sending them back!
