  1. Stuck on = tat Either get the panells sprayed professionally or buy an original kit like those that Nic suplies. (even a DIY spray is far better than stick-on) I think I understand the standards you want and you will not be happy with stick on cr*p
  2. They're about $200 in the US so yes, about £200 after all our taxes are added up grrrrr!
  3. They are correct, the active spoiler won't work with almost any aftermarket front bumper (and also with FMIC fitting) They will have had to remove the entire unit to fit the Blitz front. Make sure they give it back as it's worth a lot of money! Apart from when using the do-luck front it also leaves a gaping hole in the undertray which needs to be filled, did they fabricate anything to match the gap to the engine undertray? and why do you always post in that style, are you attempting some sort of haiku?
  4. Nice torque curve shame that it's feck all across the range I have 118 torques on my BMW apparently

    Blackwidow Supra

Tricky one then, you want the best of both worlds One recommendation I would highly recommend is ask a few members for a passenger lift in their cars before making any decision. Start at a large single and work your way down to the quicker spooling ones (it'll help keep things in perspective that way) - then take your one for a drive and see where you want to aim for. As you have a 6spd, don't bother with getting a drive in an auto, it's not comparable.
  6. Does anyone have one of these installed in their Supra? Can they be fitted using the stock hanger or does the hanger need to be fabricated? The car has a -8 line in place to from the filter to the boot area so am looking to reuse this. Does anyone know the size of the line from the Bosch pump?
  7. Sorry mate, but yes, thats very tacky I put in it the same league as neon washer jet lights.

    Blackwidow Supra

When discussing this with Terry some time ago he mentioned something about the dbb being pointless on a BL T61. Diminishing returns and all that... On something like Wez's car going to a dbb isn't going to make any difference, it's already on the edge of providing too much torque too early and therefore making the car slower/difficult to drive to due to such massive, early boost pressure What are your aims for the car Imi?
  9. I'll hopefully be down too, if only to spectate

    Blackwidow Supra

This is a very good point Imi Unless you're after a car that you're aiming to do hard pulls from 100+mph the T61 is going to be more than enough for your needs. After owning the T67dbb, If I were to do it again I'd go for something that has the best possible spool and add a pair of higher lift cams and WI to allow the top end to be opened up more than most on here do on the T61 setup. Wez's setup would be a good baseline to use if it's going to be a very fast street car rather than a motorway monster
  11. Lovely, very tidy! Hope the mapping delivers some nice gains.
  12. Always good to hear feedback like this
  13. There's quite a few places to get cabling through (I think all have been mentioned). There's one on the passenger side where the engine loom comes through, but this is difficult to access. There's two yellow coloured bungs on the drivers side that come through the wing. These have much more room to get cables though. Seeing as the interior and inner arches are out on mine I can take some pics if you need an idea of what to look for?
  14. Sorry to be boring, but perhaps put it aside in case anything goes wrong?
  15. Incredible install One thing I'd love to see is the kerb weight and possible weight distribution split between front/rear. Would be great to see how it compares to the 2JZ-GTE
  16. Excellent pics Daman and Guigsy. Very tastefully modified cars there, most refreshing to see!
  17. Lol, yep, that'll teach me for not reading things properly! I've not tried shocking it so will give your method a try tomorrow (not holding out much hope though ). If that fails then I'll give you a call in the week
  18. Crikey mate, thanks for the offer, thats really appeciated The shock isn't off, but I can remove it. Would it be any use to remove the hub and driveshaft as one unit and bring it to your garage?
  19. There's no way it's going to move with just a breaker bar, as said it just spins the wheel (when trying from one side I even picked the wheel off the ground it's missing about 400kg of drivetrain) I don't have access to an impact driver so guess I'll just have to bin the driveshft on this side too. Probably this cars past is the reason it won't come off. It might also explain why dude had the studs welded.
  20. I'm completely stuck on removing this bolt now, have tried for an hour today but the thing will not shift I've put the wheel back on and put the car back on the gorund again. However, even with the a 2 foot breaker bar it's not moving. In fact the dispite the full weight of the car being on the wheel, the tyre loses grip with the ground and the wheel turns! Any other ideas? I'm close to binning the entire driveshaft and hub assembly..
  21. Jasma isn't an exhaust, it's a "approved exhaust" stamp used by aftermarket companies to say that it's certified for use in Japan (kind of like the E-mark we have in Europe). If the exhaust has this stamp it'll be some basic exhaust system for the supra and nothing special. I bet this is all down to bad installation or some other factor (like heat shield rattle). Either that or they've ragged the car over a speed hump Feel free to drop by if you want me to take a quick look for you.
  22. After years of use (or misuse!) the O2 sensor can get clogged with carbon deposits, removing it and soaking the sensor in lemon juice (a mild acid) gently removes the deposits and can temporarily make them report correct readings to the ECU. In most cases this will show an improvement if the sensor is the cause of the problems. Cleaning is only a temporary measure, by this time the sensor is knackered and need renewing
  23. Nice work Chris, it must have taken some hard non-effort to build up that grime Here's one of mine (ignore the paintshop lines, that was for another thread!):
