  1. Whitley Wood - hope you had your doors locked! (I live about half a mile away and tend to stay away from there!).
  2. Spotted heading towards Worcester (I think!), looked like a few aftermarket bits and 18/19in wheels.
  3. lol, would be be able to recommend any suppliers for this carpet? I have absolutely no idea when it somes to triming so wouldn't know where to begin to look!
  4. Sounds like an great idea, I'd assumed there was no carpet flexible enough to cover all the angles on the rear seat wells.
  5. They're a complete gimmick mate
  6. Craig, I owe you apology for my post yesterday. I saw the first pics and thought you were just going to fill the holes and paint it just spotted the 2nd set of pics that show it blended, thats more like it Good luck with the project, thats some undertaking!
  7. Those are some sh*t cars Jazz!! I know you have high standards, could you hand on heart consider any of these to be a 'decent' examples of a supra? They looks like chaved up POS to me (that is excluding the images that have not been taken from the US forums)
  8. Unless you have a known stretch of road with a limit of "safe", straight line distance
  9. Chavtastic Thats horrible! Sticking sh*t on does not make it a nice car!
  10. If it were only that simple! Final drive and gearbox gear ratio matched to engine power output at peak rpm will determine the top speed (as well as drag & weight. i,e aftermarket bodykits, and other 'stuff' thats been installed). If you want to be sure of the top speed, take it out to a long runway and see what the GPS/accelerometer says
  11. On stock wheels & tyres, stock 6spd LSD diff and stock rev limit it's 198mph. It will not go more without changes to the above I have no doubt that it would do more with a raised limit, but not a lot! You'd also need about 3 miles
  12. So it'll be even less
  13. The problem there is you are asking a question that only 2-3 people could possibly answer, none of which are likely to be online right now, have even attempted a top speed run with a decent GPS system, or perhaps even belong to this club. If you're using the NA stock non-LSD diff, the 5spd box it's going to be *far* lower than the TT. The ratios are all wrong for high speed. If you had stock wheels and the non-LSD diff I believe the max at the TT rev limit is 164mph, however you would need the power to pull to the limit, which I seriously doubt a stock TT can do (even with the 6spd, my stock TT was a very long way off the limit). If you get more than 155mph on a gps I'd be amazed.
  14. We're not talking singles here Rob
  15. What do you mean? Are you are asking about a GTE engine matched to an NA 5spd? What diff is installed? What sized wheels and tyres?
  16. 170mph is the absolute maximum you can reach on a stock 6spd supra. 192mph is the maximum on a BPU 6spd at 1.25 bar The auto, while having a theoretical higher top speed cannot match these speeds
  17. 2.7 miles!! Should be interesting for a top speed run if you can get use of the whole thing. Out of interest how does that compare to Brunters? EDit - nevermind, google says brunters is 2 miles
  18. Sounds good, how long is the runway? Is it open to spectators?
  19. Homer

    what have i done

Really good to hear you're happy with it Gaz, it's been a long road to get to this stage!
  20. He said floor bracing wouldn't make any difference, only bars across the roof would make any real difference. (see pic, dotted line was where he also recommended a brace is put, but this might not be ideal for a daily driver! Red dots are where it would be welded to the shell) I appreciate this isn't inline with everyones experience..
  21. I can't remember if that was ever the correct name (think Alex made it up or something...), I think the real name is Anthracite
  22. The VIN plate colour code should answer your question. It looks like MSB but hard to tell because the shots are indoor ones.. Nice car
