    Blackwidow Supra

Indeed I would I just cannot see how it's possible to go from stock (or even base BPU) to a complete single for less than £5k. You could get very close to it if some budget items are used (IC, cats, exhaust for example) AND it's a DIY install, but using new branded parts the figures don't add up. I'm in the process of writing a single conversion parts list using several different options (cheap as possible T61, 'normal' T61, 'normal' T67 and high end T67), none of the figures are coming in below £6k so far provided you're going from stock or BPU spec. However I do not think this is so relevant to Imi's thread since knowing him he'll want a plug and play install & mapping that will not be DIY.
  2. Ah sorry, didn't know that!
  3. GB's need to be approved by the mods first. Shall I run this past them now Gerry? Can't see there being an issue as I've not seen any trader offer these before.
  4. You can get some 'standard' style plates made up from internet sites (I already bought a pair with V8 SUP, how sad!) I like Smiffad's plate

    Oil Filter ?

I very much doubt you would get one tomorrow, but any Toyota garage would have these in stock. I don't see the point in the TRD one, the stock one works perfectly
  6. Paul Evans (ex Miami-GT owner) used to supply Modellista parts, I don't know if the new owner does, but would be worth a try.
  7. Haha, okay then they're mint They're in superb condition and no mice damage. There is a little water staining on the drivers bolster but that'll come out with a bit of a scrub. Thanks again Steve, much appreciated and very generous of you The generosity of club members never ceases to amaze me, so thanks to everyone who's been involved Total spend so far remains at £454.98
  8. Erm, off topic much? 2010 seems to be the earliest chance from what I've heard. It wasn't exactly a minor offence so not much chance of a very early release date
  9. The error will continue to be reported until the reason for the fault report is found. If you can so the error code check and confirm it's a spoiler fault we can go from there.. PS: Please see my edit above and respond
  10. The engine loom was changed so if it came from a TT with the active spoiler it might now be reporting an error to the ECU, hence your issue. As mentioned, the error code should confirm this. Edit - who did the conversion and why have they not fixed this?
  11. Coming on at 60mph is going to be an active spoiler related issue. An error code diag should confirm if this is correct, until then we'd only be speculating
  12. Thanks Wez. PS: got all those CO2 and NOS lines here plus some solenoids. There's 5m+ of the stuff! Looks like 2mm dia.
  13. I don't think so Wez. He might have been using some aftermarket spots (see pic). The wire is inside the stock coverings, but does seem much thicker than the ones Toyota use for the rest of the loom... Think it might be best to break open the covering and trace it.
  14. Due to bad weather and high workload I've had almost no time to spend on the car lately, but did manage to get a few little bits done today. First of all the new seats and in (although termporary, waiting for Chris Wilson to finish Wez's car so I can nick the carpet from it ) http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/8941/newseatsdd3.th.jpg Also did a bit more tidying on the engine bay. Got the last of the CO2 kit out and cleared out the remains of the battery relocation wiring. Was hoping to get the wiring loom out for deconstruction but the rain beat me http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/6697/enginewiring12wm4.th.jpg HUGE thanks for SteveR for donating the seats They're in near mint condition too. Good to meet you at the weekend, lovely part of the country you live in
  15. The red one with a non-stock connector on the end... It looks to be part of the stock wiring as it's inside the plastic sheilding. It's the same on both sides. I can't remember where this wire should go!

    gt40/88

On no Gaz, not another one Out of interest did you every have antilag/2step running with this turbo installed? It seemed to be the cause on all but one of the other failures...

    EPC request

There might be some differences between the models. PM me your frame and VIN number and I'll take a look

    Munchies

Humus= yum - but with ketchup! I like sliced carrots with humus dip, but it's a bit moreish and not good on the waistline

    Munchies

Rice cakes make great munchie food for the calorie conscious
  20. We don't have any stick-on kits for the outside, however if there is sufficient interest I'm sure we can get something produced. The cost would be much higher than the current ones so I doubt we could offer them for free. Tom S had some ones made up a year or two ago for JAE, great quality but I don't think too many were sold from the batch. As mentioned, if there is enough interest I'm sure we can sort something out
  21. Not seen that one before! Any guesses if the turbo is still in one piece? I recognise that front bumper, it's someone who occasionally posts here...
  22. Thanks Martin, those worked perfectly
  23. Bump In fact codes from any auto would do the job
  24. Do you have UK spec brakes? If not thats a good start Good call by Lui on the RLTC Aquamist WI?
