  1. Ahah, gotcha. Did a search on the usercp and no results I'm looking at one of these at the moment, base model 540i Touring and an auto, '99 and it's up for £1650, but mega miles. Very tempted! 4.4 litre V8
  2. Who's he then? I'm not seeing a connection here...
  3. Is it on stock suspension or lowered? If you get the arches rolled and a skinny tyre they *might* fit, but with that offset on the front they WILL rub on lock. They stick out over 3cm more than stock on the front so it's a major change to the geometry too. Edit - wait a minute, is that offset -18 or +18?
  4. I really want one of those, but for 1/4 the price
  5. It was a momentary ignore (put it down to a bad combo of keyboard and cider ) The only ones I saw at JAE were from the year before last, but I wasn't a mod then and didn't take anything back. Last year I took all the boxes but there were none of the large window stickers from the year before in those. They were good stickers so might be a chance we can do something about getting some larger ones made up if there's sufficient interest...
  6. Good advice My house was first decorated in bright (even day-glo) colours you normally see in council houses on the TV I've nearly finished the renovation and have gone for white/magnolia walls and some with a hint of yellow. Either light wood flooring or beige/cream carpets. It's totally transformed the house, feels twice the size and three estate agents have added £10k to the valuation that was done 6 months ago. result! Just need to get it sold now

    Of that there's little doubt

Thats pretty much my thoughts on this, but the thought of a Nazi orgy seemed a pretty odd concept to say the least. I was very surprised to read who Max Mosleys father was! One way or another lets hope this is the end for his involvement in F1...
  10. They won't fit unless you remove the wheel arches or have extremely skinny tyre's. Most probably it'll handle like cr*p too. Even if you want to continue with 19's get some with the correct offsets and near-stock widths They do look nice though...

What exactly is a Nazi Orgy, it's a pretty bizarre concept!!
  12. Christ! Just checked the backlog, 36 requests in the last week Thats my Sunday gone then
  13. I've definetely sent you one before (There's a flag marked for it, but you can't see this). We do get a few go missing each month and quite a few are already opened when they arrive... Thieving pikey post office workers thinking the members cards are credit cards I think...
  14. Oops, sorry mate, I thought I'd already replied to you - doh! So, a belated "thanks very much" Rob Either 1 2 or 3 has to the the CPS plug, Ian said 3 is the alternator which makes sense so I guess it must be 1 or 2.
  15. Brilliant work Ian, thanks very much mate!! Lol at the last few, got a bit carried away with the numbers First post is updated, any ideas on the missing ones? The ones in Red need verifying. There doesn't seem to be a Crank position sensor listed, I think that might be 1. or 2.
  16. Erm, when did you request it mate? I did a batch about 10 days ago and you definetely didn't have a tick in the box then. I'll be doing another batch this week.
  17. I've use Natwest for about 10 years. Granted its only for Ltd company contracting so don't use many services, but I have found them 1st class. - The call centre is UK based, I'm never waited long than 30 seconds to be answered. The staff there know what they're talking about too. - I have a business advisor assigned but haven't needed to speak to her very often. The only time was when I was applying for a personal loan, she got involved and arranged it all for me dispite it not being related to the business. - They have online services but I've never used them. I just use the automated phone system for bank transfers (mainly between my business and personal accounts. Transfers are instant within business hours) I really can't fault them...
  18. I did over 25k miles on a single set of Chris Wilson fast road pads. They still had more than 40% of the pad left when I sold the car. Those miles were mostly quite easy on the brakes though (motorway/commuting)
  19. You're absolutely right Paul, except we are already a nanny state. It's been slowly building in the background for the last 20 years, but is now totally out of hand. For example on the 'personal lawsuit' side we're approaching the US type legal system where "someone is accountable" for anything out of the ordinary happens.
  20. I have one Robert but it's in the storage unit in Gloucester. Will let you know if I get chance to go there soon... Good to see you're still about Lee
  21. The total system will be a lot more. There's a few heavy duty pipes involved and the AC rad itself. 20-25 kg for the lot probably isn't far off, thats a lot of weight to lose from a car, especially from from the front
  22. It needs to be removed for the engine install so will weigh it for you. At a rough guess I'd say it's about 8-10kg. I want to retain the AC, so will probably reuse the compressor on the Corvette engine Lets see if this one doesn't end up a masive fireball on first startup
  23. Oh and I forget to mention that I sold some parts from the car that weren't needed so the build cost now stands at: £374.98
  24. Thats terrible, even for Scooter! I liked some of his earlier stuff
