Why are you fitting a narrowband O2 gauge? They're useless as a monitoring tool

It's very easy, 2 minute job max Just undo the 3 light harneses, undo the 2 nuts and 1 bolt securing the headlight and *carefully* remove the light. If you're in the area drop by and I'll show you how.

Take the headlight out, you should be able to access the bolts after that

What was the rwhp Matt? Flywheel isn't really important to us folks is it Unless you engine dyno'd it, which is a whole other matter. Mine consistently made 355-360rwhp over 3 years at SRR on the stock turbo's but it was right on the edge of running lean (and at 1.2bar boost in the summer)

Oh my god Don't start it again until you get a base map loaded at the VERY least. Ideally get it on a trailer and take it to your mapper. It's insane to start it without even a base map for your injectors. You are very lucky you've not melted a piston, though a leakdown test is advisable after this.

I'll get a new set of pads tomorrow and will post up a pic of the pads. There isn't much to see, just some uneven wear. No point scrimping on brakes, especially at Ford (Partco ) prices!

Thanks mate. The pads are hardly worn so yes, it looks like they were swapped out and the discs not. They are the correct pads for the car (checked that after seeing the disc!) The wear on the 3 other faces are perfectly normal and competely flat, just this one face was extremely uneven. I didn't replace the pads, but I guess this might be a wise option? The pad on that side was also worn unevenly so probably isn't going to do the new disc much good

GrahamC managed about 380rwhp on his hyrbid car with pretty much every mod you could make (WI, cams, standalone with Ryan.G map). This was at SRR so about as reliable as you can get for 'realistic' hp figure I can't imagine the jdm's being able to flow more than the hybrids, so I'd hazard a guess that 370bhp at the wheels is absolute max on a 6spd.

The previous owner of the car told me the front discs needed changing as there was some shuddering under braking - he wasn't joking! The passnger side looked fine, very worn and probably original. The driver side inner had some strange wear, there were chunks out of the disc face and the outer edge was worn about 2-3mm, with the wearing getting worse the closer to the outside edge. Any ideas what could have caused this? There is also a little bit of play in the wheel, so the wheel bearing could do with changing too.

This conversation came up a couple of years ago with some of my old school friends. They are all new and in sealed boxes. However the pics did show that quite a few of the boxes were damaged which probably explains the damage some have seen.

This is the guys that has something like 50 sets of supra headlights for sale (I have a picture of them somehere). The club was considering buying them, but logistics were an issue. I personally think they were a stolen shipment... I mean who in their right mind buys 50+ sets of lights that are of no use in their own country?!

If it's that far off, I wouldn't even recommend driving the car, let alone on-boost! What is the story with the car, how come it's got a single, but not been mapped?
