  1. Absolutely stunning Col! Love the part number sticker pages
  2. Late reply but awesome work mate! Your planning was exceptional, the fact you had every last part possibly needed made it so much easier. It was a lot of fun to do some spanner work after so many years, really enjoyed it and Nico loved it too. He asks every day when we’re next going to yours! The car drives really well and I’m very impressed with smoothness of the r154 and stock clutch, it’s like driving a new car. next up…. That single turbo conversion…
  3. I'm on the hunt for the same part, how frustrating. Please post here if you find a supplier.
  4. Congrats, very nice! Did that used to belong to a member on here? It looks familiar.
  5. 94' GZ Aero here as well. I had no idea the production numbers were so small
  6. I believe Geoff is referring to the plastic undertray part. It's number 53590 in his picture (Confusing I know!)
  7. Thanks Ben, much appreciated. I’ll keep an eye on that one.
  8. Good stuff. PM on its way

Welcome to the club. Did I see this on the back of a recovery truck on Saturday near the sewage works? There's quite a few of us long term Supra owners in Northampton area Where are you located?
  10. Spotted 2 days ago on the back of a recovery truck on Ecton Lane, next to the sewage works. No plates on it and it looked stock. Nearly had a heart attack as I thought was mine for a second. Anyone missing a Supra? It’s traveller central around there.
  11. It depends if you’re referring to the first or second cat. The first cat is different on the UK spec, it has a different bolt pattern. The second cat is the same, but as already mentioned above misses the 2nd O2 sensor. That said, the car should be able to pass the emissions test with only the second cat in.
  12. Indeed, Mawby was doing some work on the forum, editing has been reverted.

Done. Apologies Frizzy, a small mix up over your username. Welcome to the club
  14. Looked tidy, silver and had a Dragonball sticker on it. Must be someone from here, swear I saw a picture of it recently on one of the fb groups...
  15. Agreed Scooter, my bad Also agreed that the non-VVTi package might be an advantage (Less complex) and it could still come with the V160 & large case diff (and associated drivetrain), some facelift models still had the older stronger components, some not. The VIN plate will confirm this.
  16. Not so far from you is Bedford Aerodrome. It's a huge track that will really allow you to test not only the straight line power of the car but also the brakes and cornering. It's a great track that's really well suited to a GT car. Let a pro driver drive your car, you will be amazed what it can do. I've been there a dozen times with various conditions and it always confirms I'm the weakest link in the car It's got very safe run off and not a lot to hit so is a great track to actually learn how to drive fast and to do it safely. No noisy exhausts though... I always had to stick a bung in my one.
  17. 2 hour drive when I'm supposed to be looking after the kid on the wife's rest day. Maybe in.. Just have to convince the Mrs
  18. Also, just so you're aware, it's one of the weird cross-over models from '97. Facelift exterior, facelift interior, non-VVTi models. That's not a bad thing as such but you should be aware it's not a proper facelift car.
  19. That looks very tidy, but I'd certainly refer to Keron's comments above and seriously recommend you get him to review this car with you prior to purchase, even if it costs you some money. He's an absolute expert when it comes to reviewing crash damage and potential poor repair. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate before spending so much hard earned cash. There's some rare and valuable parts on it though (I think that's a TRD type2 rear wing, not personally a fan but some like it), TRD strut brace and a very expensive air filter (Which won't do anything apart from extra whoosing noise ). I'm not too far from Leicester so count me in for any meet up! I've done a few track days in my Supra's so as always I'd start with the tyre's, suspension and brakes to make the most of any track action. You already have the larger stock setup on your car which is much more than capable so that's a great start. Some race or semi-race competition pads will help you on track but full race ones will be a detriment for day to day driving.
  20. Are you the same guy that has the red car in at Harty's garage? It might be a coincidence, but I saw a similar thread on the FB group. Great to hear it's running either way I'm got a Supra 'resting' since 2013, so interested to see what issues were found. Mine burst a fuel hose (Hodge aftermarket one) 4 years back and it's not been started since.
  21. Thanks Dave, I'll have a look at that first. The service manual troubleshooting guide is a bit beyond my understanding of automotive electronics, so this helps
