Friend and I found an old mark 4 supra, twin turbo Japanese import for what we thought was a bargain so picked her up.
She’s been sitting in a barn for 11 years, has some general wear and tear marks on the paintwork which doesn’t really concern us. The engine starts up first time and runs sweet.
Couple issues we do have, 1 is the car has no brake hoses. Sourced from HEL lines, the original hoses are convex and the new ones supplied are concave. HEL claim they’ll work as the lines are designed to be dual flare, anybody come across that before?
The other thing we’re trying to do is put it back to as original as possible. The car doesn’t need that much, original wheels, side skirts removed and some other smaller bits. Trying to find original wheel sizes and every thread/website seems to contradict another, anybody know for sure what size wheels belong?
I’ve never removed side skirts, they look glued on! How would these be removed? Concerned about damaging what’s underneath.
Fairly new to all this, with lockdown it’s given a project to keep busy. Appreciate any and all feedback that’ll help.
