  1. Is there anyone on here who is a Chartered Surveyor / Property Developer that can spare a few minutes to answer a couple of questions relating to my dissertation? Cheers, Mark
  2. If you ever end up selling it Jake, please let me know! A standard J-spec TT6 is a very rare car.....
  3. [quote= FWIW I'm still under 20st. Just.
  4. Does anyone else find it amusing that we have so many threads on here that go along the lines of "if you don't like our culture / country / music / government / way of life then jog on" and then put forward an argument about adhering to another culture for a different country? American culture is based around tipping. If you don't tip you won't get good service. For heavens sake, the poor people over there already have to cope with the exchange rate being $2 to £1 already, don't wind them up anymore!
  5. First of all, you need to make sure your tyres are in good nick. Then you need to search for a man on this site called Chris Wilson, beg him for forgiveness for fitting 19" wheels and ask him for one of his fast road suspension packages. You then need to make sure your brakes are in good shape (it's generally recommended you have the "UK" versions with uprated pads, 5.1 fluid and braided brake lines). Once you have done that and had some tuition you will be ready to exploit the Supra as Toyota intended. Anything beyond that is £00000...............
  6. I once saw a sixteen year old lad get hit by the car in front of me doing 35-40mph. I held his hand for 25 minutes waiting for the ambulance to arrive while he screamed for his mum. I fully admit that up until that point I drove like a tit down some very dangerous roads and although it still makes my hair stand on end to drive down a country road as fast as my so called "skill" will allow me, I'm only too aware of how much I would wish to be on a well organised track day if anything happened to me or (God forbid) an spectator / passenger.

    Jag Crash

The passenger is Steve Sutcliffe from Autocar magazine the day before he drove a Jag F1 car. Pizzonia was only supposed to be showing him the racing line of the track lol!
  8. Is this still available? If so do you have any pictures of the interior and any info on tax / mot? Cheers, Mark
  9. It's quite a big car as well isn't it? The R34 is hardly compact but the R35 looks significantly bigger in every dimension. Awesome car though! I'm very jealous!
  10. Best thing you can do is drop both of them like fifth period French and then make it your personal (secret) mission to sleep with either a family member or ex of both of them. I was always told not to do anything to anyone that would upset me if it were done to me and they have both blatantly taken the mick. Think about it, when the topic of what happened comes up in a crowded pub (at it always will), there is nothing that will silence your mate / ex quicker than the news that you filmed his sister with a mouthful of man meat. Don't hate the player hate the game.
  11. The only thing that I thought let it down were the animated "infected". 28 days was scary because they used real people (athletes at that) who as a result moved and ran as humans do but very quickly which made them MUCH scarier than anything computer generated.
  12. Thats a Murcielago GT-R racer. Rear wheel drive!
  13. Not my photos I'm afraid but there are some very cool shots in here: http://www.stuttgart9.co.uk/upload/showthread.php?t=5087 Cheers, Mark
  14. I'd try the Welbeck hotel if you can find it. Literally round the corner of the Rock City building and it fits lowered supras easily. The security guards there are also spot on and stop people who walk into the car park but don't go straight to the ticket machines (I've been stopped twice while getting stuff from the car). Its also one of the cheapest car parks in Notts (70p per hour). What you going to see at Rock City? My Editors tickets arrived yesterday Cheers, Mark
  15. Seeing as my new rota at work is quite accomodating and I could do with the extra cash I've just got back from the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham after signing up and having a look around the labs / living areas. Does anyone on here have any experience of them? I understand a lot of Police Officers do them? Cheers, Mark
  16. My grandparents are staying at my mums and I've spent the day with them today. Highlights include my Grandad answering the phone when the doorbell rang and my Nan trying to change the channel on the tv with the cordless phone I tried to show them some pictures that my mate has emailed me from his trip round Australia and both of them acted as though it was witchcraft rather than technology that had put the pictures on the screen lol. I shouldn't laugh and I know I'm very lucky to still have them around but you should have seen the look on my Nans face when I took a photo of her on my mobile and showed it to her
  17. Rear engined not mid and yes they are stunning cars. A bloke who parks his 997 Carrera 2 at my work let me have a sit it and have a quick look around the other day. Oh for that winning lottery ticket....... Mark
  18. Wouldn't this be potentially dangerous? As I understand it these systems are designed to stop the throttle freezing open on cold days / icy conditions? The potential repercussions of not being able to control the throttle properly in cold (or any come to think of it) conditions doesn't fill me with confidence. I'm not having a dig, just interested from a safety aspect.... Cheers, Mark

    supra info

Are you sure they have quoted you for a mk4 and not a mk3? I've made that mistake before.
  20. For those who are interested, Thundercats Series One is in HMV at the mo for £19.99. Thirty five episodes! Still as good as I remember it! Mark
  21. Looks really good in white! How much is this one going for? Was this a factory built car (like a TRD special edition?) or has the kit been added as an aftermarket addition? Cheers, Mark

    London Boat Show

VERY nice mate! Must have been a good feeling seeing her arrive. Did anyone place an order for one at the show? Cheers, Mark
  23. Not that slow for a FWD hatch. They do 0-60 in 5.9 and 30-70mph less than half a second slower than a 400bhp BMW M5. I also happen to know of one for sale. 03 plate, 32,000 miles, FSH, Mongoose Exhaust, decat, Bluefin, 260bhp, Tax and MOT till March (99% sure it's March). It's been my baby for 15 months but times are changing and a house is my next purchase so it needs to go. PM if you're interested. I'd be after £14,000. Cheers, Mark
  24. Charlotte Marshall? http://images.google.co.uk/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=charlotte+marshall+fhm
  25. Nottingham! Three girls to every bloke! It's student night pretty much every night of the week as well which is why I'm off out tonight with the lads as soon as I've had my tea! Mark
