  4. Hi guys thanks for the support, the car is still road legal if you were to change the tyres from slicks to treaded ones, and a few lights fixed, but lets face it she is a race car now, but I am gutted but needs must as they say.

Hi, I have made the decision to sell my much loved supra, as most people know the car is one of the fastest Japanese cars in the uk, the decision has not been an easy one to make but due to a new baby daughter and on going work commitments and the lack of sponsorship I have made my mind up to sell the car, the car has well over £60k invested so who ever buys it will be getting a true bargin. The car has just had a full engine rebuild done by ourselves, which will be good for at least two seasons racing with having to put a spanner near it, the engine has just had new rings, 6 new liners, new bearings, shells, head gasket, etc etc, the engine was making well over 1100 bhp with the old spec, the new spec should make around 1300 bhp poss more, the main change is the turbo which is now much larger and is abile to flow over 1100bhp on its own. The car has ran a 8.6 @ 159 mph, this was again on the old set up, with the new set up I would say the car will run very low 8's maybe even a high 7 !!, the car is still very heavy 1390 kg with me in it so there is scope for a good bit of weight loss as well. The car is in very good condition, the body work was fully resprayed just over 18 mths ago and the car has done very little since, I have had some great help from some of the best people in the drag racing game and I am sure we can pass on all the knowledge we have picked up and some very good contacts who will be more than happy to help. The car will be sold ready to race with many spare parts etc. The price of the car is very fixed but I am more than open to offers on p/x, swaps and so on, as I am in the motor trade I may be abele to move it on. The car has been built to meet all the latest safety regs and has been inspected by the guys at Santa pod and passed with flying colours, all the chassis work has been done by Webster race engineering, the cage, prop loop, flywheel scatter shield, window net, is all to the rac rule book, the car is a solid body vehicle with a back half so it has built proof reliability. I will not bore you with the full spec that can be give to anyone interested in the car but here is a brief brake down. Engine- fully sleeved block with CP forged pistons, Carrillo rods, mated to a stock crank all balanced, massive main bearing caps, now 3100 cc, hks cams and cam gears, massive head stud and nut kit, fully worked head, custom made inlet plenum with 90mm single throttle body, hks exhaust manifold, hks waste gate, new borg 80mm turbo, brand new stance torque converter, new powerglide box built by Andy frost (Penn autos), fully custom made wiring loom, MoTeC M600 ecu, MoTeC dash, with all advance functions ie launch controll, nitros controll, traction controll, advanced logging, 3 stage nos system ie direct port 275 bhp, single fogger upto 150 bhp, purge, and intercooler spray, all controlled via the MoTeC, the rear axle is ford 9" with 10.5"x15" rear wheels, front skinnys, fully tubb'd rear end with built in fuel cell, fire wall, blah blah blah, I could go on forever but I won't, the engine has been totally built proof, we have had the same engine for 4 years and in 4 yearss it has had 1 major rebuild inc bigger pistons, new rods, bearing caps, stud and nut kit, etc and two freshen ups since, both times that the engine was stripped it had a compression test and clyd leakage test done and there was very little wear, so the the rebuild's were only shells, bearings, gasket's, etc, the lump has been super reliable. The car is very well know across Europe, it has been in most big mag's, it has been on tv, it has won many many events and there is loads of scope for it to do even better, and was proven to do over 200 mph in 1.25 miles from a standing start (only running 800 bhp then), this car is very very special, the car as I said will be fully ready to race. Hi Guys, home at last, we did not break the record for a jap car in the uk but the track record for the pod, it was held by ron k, which was also a 9.4 but 9.478 or something, we managed 5 runs in total, the first was a shake down with lowish boost and no nos and it was a 9.881 @ 142 mph with a miss fire, we then went back out and the missfire was much worse so we aborted, went back adjusted the crank trigger and changed a suspect looking plug, ( missfire gone) run three was a 9.431 @ 154.14 mph again no nos and a 0-60ft of 1.488 ( this I belive is the new track record for the pod by a jap car ), we then done another with no nos which was a 9.562 @ 145 mph, we then went for a full power run ie nos turned on and done a 1.400 0-60ft but as soon as I went in to second the clutch started slipping badly, I kept it lit the rest of the run but was making no real power due the clutch and ended up with another 9.4 @ 147 mph. All the runs were under 10 seconds all with 0-60ft's under 1.5 seconds, I would like to think with a clutch working we can shave a tenth or two of this time, we have still got many things to try out on the set up too, so who know maybe a 8 is posssible some time soon. over and out Dee:sly:
  9. Hi I am having a bit of a winter clear out and I have the following parts availble for sale. The following are all from my gold race car, some parts are new some used. USED PARTS 6 point alloy roll cage, bolt in fittings to the floor F-Con ecu the one the car had from Japan mapped to suit 1000cc injectors and big single, up to 2.0 bar, car made just short of 800 bhp with this ecu without Nos( piggy back) TRD Diff (modified for drag use) over 200 mph proven complete rear subframe with trick parts ie solid diff mounts, solid chassis mounts, good shafts, extra long wheel studs, disc, calipairs, pads, may split HKS drag spec shocks, as new, very hard to get a hold of. (rears only) Bogart 9.5x15 rear wheels x2 either with or with ouut BFG drag or M/T street ET's ATL fuel cell 4x 325/50/15 BFG drag raidails lots of life still left in them also availble not from my car nearly new mapped for a standish T/T HKS F-CON V PRO ECU with loom. New parts Bogart rear drag alloys with new M/T street ET's 28x11.50x15 also new New M/T rear 9.5 drag Slicks HKS hybrid TURBO T51 drag spec with A/R 1.20 housing on just been fully rebuilt by AET, makes 1000+bhp @ 2.0bar new nito 555R drag spec tyres All parts are in very good condition, they were all in perfect working order when removed, I am open to sensible offers on all parts if the money is not right I will not sell them, these are all from a proven 9 second car, please either e-mail me on [email protected] or call me on 01506-880411 office hours Some parts now sold call for details.

Hi steve I have 2 f-cons, one in gold and an older one in silver, the gold one is pretty new and came out a 94 tt 6 speed mapped to run standard turbos, standard injectors with a front mount and 1.1 bar, it is fully mappible as well. send me a e mail and I will send you a pic of it.   11. The car does not have any hole for a cage, so you have to drill the shell where the fittings go, so you will have 6 feet with 4 holes in each of them. Dee
  12. The cage is out the car I can take some pics tomorrow, it is a 6 point one with bolt in feet.

  14. I will have to check, I have two sets of rears they are both 17" but I am not sure on the width, I will check on monday and mail you back, but no it is not the end of the car just getting bigger and better for next year.
