  1. Cheers Ian, yeah slowly getting there I’m based in leyland. How about yourself?
  2. For the moment it’s just getting it running properly and enjoying it for what it is. Then in a couple of years I plan on getting her single turbo’d, cleaned up and Repainted and then enjoy it even more.
  3. Thank you, that I will definitely check out. I’ll get hold of some cam cover seals and get them changed if it’s a common occurrence.
  4. Sorry about the late reply, got busy. I’ll check that out thanks. And not at all, I gave £8500 for it.
  5. Cheers mate. I’m sure I’ve narrowed it down now, I just thought I’d share the story so far.
  6. Hello all, I’m Kearon. I’ve just bought my first supra. It’s a n/a 5 speed. Previous owner had it for 11 years. But it’s been stood unloved for the last 4. I have some plans for this car to bring it back to its best. In the week I’ve owned the supra, it’s been let’s say interesting.... it made it home with a check engine light on after 4 hours of driving. Drove absolutely flawless, apart from the bogging at around 4.5krpm. The next day I thoughid take it out for a drive and the alternator pulley s**t itself. Leading to me having to get it trailered back to the unit. Thankfully a new one was only £80. I pulled the old plugs trying to determine a misfire noticing oil on the plugs in cylinders 4 and 6. So you guessed it, new plugs have gone in. (Also compression tested and thankfully it read 160psi on all cylinders.) Still the misfire continues but still absolutely loving this machine!
