  1. hi there.have used dot 5 silicon fluid as it has better resistance to absorbing moisture.it does not need to be compatible with dot 3,4 or 5.1 asi have completly purged the system and replaced with dot 5.
  2. Hi there, yeah no problem.could arrange to meet halfway if serious.
  3. Sorry havnt been able to access site too much, looking for about £2,800 for car.good sound tidy car.
  4. Hi there.panel behind lights was all chipped up when i got car so had it sprayed to tidy up.thought black looked ok.
  5. I would rather put it in the local church raffle than sell it for that........
  6. Not to my knowledge but ive only owned it for two years.
  7. Hi,yes it is that long,std i think,lovely reception though.
  8. For sale i have a 1996 Toyota Supra 2jz 3.0 n/a manual. 134,000km not miles, has had instrument calibration. First registered in the uk on 1st October 1998. Right Hand Drive. Taxed with new M.O.T. CD Player. Recent Service & Cam belt etc. New front discs and pads, goodridge hoses, dot 5 fluid. K&N air filter. New alternator and battery. Refurbished Momo alloy wheels in ghost silver. Remote alarm/immobiliser. Jvc Cd/Radio with Aux input. All original tool kit and jack present. Unused spare wheel. Clean un-marked interior, with usual supra extras. Very clean example of a sought after car.
  9. Thanks for pics.this is what i have fitted, did not know if the plastic box in the corner of the shot should carry on around the corner as the rest of these pipe clips have the cover clipped to them. Thanks again.
  10. hi all, just been checking steel brake pipes on my 96 n/a and have found some light corrosion where the pipes curve around the body up into the rear wheel arch, think i have cought it in time as the pipes are not pitted so i think a clean up and a coat of paint should do the job.would just like to know if the plastic pipe cover that runs under the floor to protect the pipes also curves up into the arch as i'm not sure if i have a section missing.thanks
  11. Just checking out a few more things ive noticed with my 96 jap n/a. When driving over slightly rough roads have light knocking from rear passenger side, possibly worn bush.Is there one that fails,as i cant feel any play. Speedo dial is marked m/h which i believe was previously km/h and has been covered up,but the mileometer reads miles, which one am i to believe. Last of all, i was having a look underneath tonight and spotted that there are two large holes in the diff mount i have a big rubber mount in the l/h one with two allen bolts holding it but nothing in the r/h hole at all, should two be fitted? Thanks. All new to me.
  12. Thanks for that. Do you know if there is separate fuse for l/h mirror or any common faults with motors.
  13. Have got 96 jap import with plastic headlamp lenses. Were a bit yellow but have polished that out with autoglym paint renovator.Just noticed that they have no e marking so will they be ok for mot? Also when mirror retraction activated are both mirrors supposed to fold in or just drivers side.
  14. pics coming soon.car has been standing for approx 12 months.brakes all binding and corroded.have got calliper seal kits from whifbits just waiting for bit of time to get work started.
  15. Hi again.thanks for interest.will get some pics on asap.
