  3. Big thankyou to all the people who attended the Gumball yesterday, it was a shame so many had to drop out, as the weather was very kind to us with a fair bit of sunshine:cool: , after the early morning rain, which always makes it more enjoyable. It was nice to see & chat to so many new faces, Elaine & Steve(Girlracer),wish I had owned a supra at your age:) , Steve & Julia(Stevesupra), hope the washing stayed dry:) , Dave(Supraman666),not a name to forget! , Mark(I-macca), what a real bargain your uk manual was, Also, it's always great to see the more familiar faces: Sheena & Daisy, it was a pleasant surprise to see you at Boxhill:) . Dave F, you should of worn that tux mate:) Paul & Tina, Nevs & Amy, hope you both didn't work to hard last night:) It was great to turn some heads as we drove through Hastings & then park up by the front:d Sorry to the guys following me back to the A24, I missed the turning to A27 and we ended up stuck in the Brighton seafront traffic[sHOCK][/sHOCK] (whoops!) Looking forward to Fairmile on Tues. Cheers Andy
  4. Had 20 names down, but nearly half were may-be's, so have to wait untill we see in the morning at boxhill. (meeting 2 at Faversham & 2 at hastings) Having had heavy rain at 6.30am the cloud is starting to break up & can actually see some blue sky:cool: Yippee (croydon area). Hope to see many at Boxhill soon. for a great day:) Andy
  5. Sorry the lad isn't feeling well Gary, I know he must be gutted:( Wish him well from us. Andy
  6. Hi everyone, hope you are looking forward to tomorrow's GUMBALL as much as I am. The weather looks like it should be mostly dry with a chance of the odd shower.& 20 degrees, so not to bad! Having spoke to the Fairmile pub today, I will have to come up with a plan B, for those wishing to join me and others for an evening meal/get together after returning to Boxhill, due to the Pub having a wedding party there that night:( . (poss' pub/harvester in leatherhead) I will let you all know tomorrow. GUMBALL See you soon, Andy
  7. Hopefully about 3pm' but with most things, this could change due to traffic etc. If you would like to swap mobile numbers so I can phone you when we are coming through Rye, return my PM with number. Hope to see you Sat'

    Busted Knee

Hi John Sorry to here about your knee. Have just got back off hol's so have not been on the net for a couple of weeks. Hope you get it sorted soon. Susan and Andy
  9. Just got back of my Hol's, looks like there is quite a big interest in the Gumball, which is great news! Just a few points. If people have walkie talkie's don't forget them, and tune them to the usual 5.5 frequency. Those of you who are planning to start with me at Boxhill, please could you add your names to the Calendar section so I have a better idea of how many to expect, to save unnecessary waiting before the off. If any of you would like to exchange mobile numbers with me, incase of delays or getting lost on route on the day, just PM me and I will gladly do a swap of numbers. ( theres nothing worse than getting split up early on and missing the rest of a great day!) PS Don't forget to print off route and bring a map just in case. Look forward to meeting you all on Saturday (now praying for good weather:cool: )
  10. Without sounding to much like a killjoy. this event has allways been for mkiv supras only. (sorry:( ) He is welcome to come to any of the Jap meets which we also go to!
  11. Good luck with your Supra hunting:) . It would be a shame to miss the Gumball.
  12. Yes, this is only for the MKiV members. (a supra only gumball!)
  13. Hope you get your leave sorted Ben. Would just like to say even though the Tuesday meet was a small turnout it was still a great evening. Was nice to see Tina and Paul and Corni and Fi not to mention Ian, Sheena and Pete. It was good to be able to talk to everybody and not just a select few that you sit with. Somebody came up with the idea (similar to speed dating) you sit with a few people for a set time and then move round when your time is up. We fell about with this idea, but it's not a bad one. Hope to see you all again next month Bye for now Susan and Andy (Mr and Mrs T)
  14. DETAILED ROUTE NOW ON FIRST PAGE :d (PS Don't forget to add your names to the list if attending, this can be found on the calendar.) Many thanks Andy

  20. Hi guys, Just to say "I" enjoyed the evening, all though I would of liked to have a bit more time to talk to you, but I was given the task of collecting the monies on behalf of the pub due to a last minute change of plan by the pub organizers. I believe we had 25 supra's which was a good turnout. Nice to catch up with the regular sem/asford crew, & good to see some nice new supras attend. Having read a couple of peoples comments suggesting that it was a waste of £5, I must give you my thoughts on this! Where can you get into a car show with such a wide variety of lovely looking motors, have a parking space reserved for you, & have some food, all for £5! One of the best parts of the evening is to stay a bit later and watch & listen to the cars as they leave the event, in most cases, with tyres screeching & exhausts bellowing in their wake. I would pay £5 just to watch Jamiep in his red supra go up that road like he did. (sideways) It must have been the best exit of the 150+ cars I watched leave. Got it sideways at least 3 times as he went up through the gears along the road:D Hope to see some of you guys & gals at Tuesday's SEM back at the Fairmile. Andy Here's some photos for the people who could not make it this year.
