Good chance it was me. Was parked up on Kingsway along the sea front from 10.30 to 4.00pm. Came down from Croydon for the day to catch some rays on the beach!

Would like to put forward a suggestion to change the last meeting point of the Gumball on Saturday! Instead of the Little Chef, I'am thinking of the Beefeater pub/Travel Inn, still in Horsham & only just up the road from the little chef. I think it would hopefully be a better finish to a good day in a nice pub. Having not been there myself I would be greatfull if anyone who knows of this pub, to put forward their views, thanks. The address is 57. North St. Horsham.RH12 1RB -
Should be OK for tickets, just asked for a top up. Also notified pub to expect about 36 cars on the night. (slightly more than the 6 at last years event) Hope to encourage more people on the night to attend the Eastern Gumball (plug plug) on Saturday 3rd of Sept, for those who like convoying with other Supras and driving a fair few miles. See Mawby's thread under Southern Counties Gumball. (East) If you can make it please add name to calendar!

Just to confirm, It's not to late for anyone who wants to come on Friday,as tickets are issued on the night by myself (just look for a white supra or ask for Andy (Mr T). I will be able to get more tickets on the night if needed, due to the ever increasing numbers. Tickets are only needed by club members using the BBQ.There is allocated parking for the supra's and also a public car park for anyone who wants to come and have a nose round. This is looking to be a very good gathering of Supra's ,plus forcast looks ok for Friday.

To let you lead for the last section, was the only chance I could get to take these forward facing pictures. See it was all planned to the very last detail you know

Great day on Saturday on the Gumball, clocked 330 miles from Chieveley to salisbury, adding miles from home and back again 195 after overnight stop at Chieveley = 525 miles plus loads or fuel! Still every drop was worth it when having such fun with a great bunch of people and their Supra's. We managed to keep fairly good time, with only being 15 to 30 min's late at couple of stops, even with tractors, Learner drivers, etc some times leading the way. As luck would have it, the speed of the learner driver helped me decide to modify the route out of Dunster, and take a "B" road, which turned out to be one of the best drives of the day, clear, twisty and fast , must remember the B3224 & B3190 for next year. Here is a few pic's from the day. 1 & 2 - first meet at Chieveley. 3- On route. 4 - checking route before leaving little chef. 5 - Simon B joins in the fun.

If people are not starting at chieveley services could you please state where you intend joining the convoy, to avoid any necessary delays. Please PM mobile if you don't mind,as this may become very helpfull on the day. I will do likewise. It's a shame more names aren't down as this is a great day for convoying around with other Supras. To those who are coming, I'am Looking forward to tomorrow as it seems the bad weather has now past, and should make for a rearly fun day! Andy -

Did Mawby forget to mention it is tradition that the "leaders" are supplied with food & drinks, throughout the course of the day, by the rest of the pack! -

BIG thanks to Mawby for taking the time to sort this event out, it would not be the same without a GUMBALL or two. I hope more people can attend on Saturday as this is one day not to miss especially if you enjoy a convoy with many other supra's -

Got name down for both, can't beat a bit of Gumball -
Any details of the route yet Mawby! I'am sure there is a lot of people wanting to take part in this event which are just waiting to put their name down once seen the route & meet times. Very nice of you to do this, as last year was such a blast. Cheers Andy.

OK, spoke to the pub last night and due to the increasing numbers from our club attending, the collecting of the money will be done by a member of staff at the BBQ area when you get your food. They still would like myself to distribute the tickets on the night after you park up in the appropriate area, to make sure the BBQ is only for car club members & partners.

Must mention went to Scotland for a week in May, drove 1600 miles and only saw 1 supra on our last day in the petrol station. I would say that they are still a rare sight, and also agree that I see more Aston's or Bentley GT's than Supra's these days!(Quite surprising)

I will make sure we have enough space to park all the cars together! and just a thought where did you get the idea the bbq started at 5pm? (SEE previous post for MORE details)

Just to confirm a few points about the BBQ event on the 26th Aug at the Fairmile pub. The gathering of cars starts from 7pm with the BBQ served from 8.30pm.(note! join the queue early to save waiting time.) I have spoke to the pub today and reserved 30 tickets so far. They are suggesting that the tickets are collected before the day (ie by myself),and to save any congestion & delay at the entrance, I will be issuing the tickets after you have parked in the appropriate place as set-out by the pub. Hope this answer's a few of your question's! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
