Hi, Well i have had the car in my local garage this time and they have had the diagnosis check and they have tested various things. They then reset the ECU. But as ihave found out the light has come back on again. It only seems to come on when the engine is warmed up and i am doing about 55mph about 2500 rpm and higher. If it is as you suggest an improper MPH conversion how do i go about checking and making it a proper conversion. I know how to reset the ecu by taking out the fuse for efi1. Hope you can help.

Hello, I have the engine diagnostic code 42 displaying. Which according to this brill site is the speed sensor No1. Does anyone know whether this part is readily available should it require replacement. Or is it a trip to a Jap Importers? Cheers cg084.

I know i would be very interested in a manual as long as the price is right for a copy. But do those lovely manuals cover the Non Turbo??? Craig.

Hi all, Thouroughly pleased with my Supra Non Turbo SZ import. Picked it up today. Only problem now is that an engine light the little orange one on the right hand warning cluster (The left most indicator) is now iluminated. It looks like the Engine icon on the technical page. Any ideas on what it may be? Or is it going to have to see the computers at Toyota? It does not come on all the time. Only some times. Does not light up straight away either. Just had a thought. When i filled the car up after collecting it i filled it with Normal Unleaded and not super unleaded. Unsure whether that would make a difference. Also i could do with a users manual for the car just so i have got something to refer to if needed. Any help mostly appreciated. Grinning like a cheshire cat now.

Hi, Just recently purchased a SZ Import Supra non turbo. I had been looking for a Twin Turbo for a few months and no joy but this one was in Great condition and low price. Only imported last month. Although i was unable to give the car a thourough foot to the floorboards drive i know it is quick. All totally standard parts on it and not chipped. How quick 0--60 i dont know. So if anyone could let me know this cool. Also for the Kenwood CD Minidisc i need an expander for the radio. Does anyone have an idea of price and place to get one. Cheers for the help. Come saturday i will be out picking up the car then some speed on the roads home.
