Ive been hunting round for 2 cats for ages for my uk supe so it can pass the MOT. Put them on and its failed the emission's test with BOTH cats in!!!!!!!! What do i do now?

Yeah.... a bit late but better late than never !!!!!!! Hickstead , Sussex . Its just down the road from bolney TBH I was just seeing if there was a convoy but no sign of it here !?! Trade stands , Food and a bar!!!

it passed the 'natural idle'test but my read outs and the others were 0.63%....im hoping it'll pass if i put just one cat in. Not sure what to do....... edited because im a wanker:blink:

Took my de-cat TT for an mot and had my fingers crossed that it may have passed the emissions test but no luck!!!. Will my n/a downpipe fit my uk tt?? My n/a is a stock exhaust and i have a nur spec on the TT

Right......i know a common problem is when a de-limiter has bad soldering and as im selling one of my supes i just wondered where the de-limiter is???? I dont really want to sell it when the 'check engine' light comes on and i wouldnt blame anyone for not believing me when i tell them theres nothing wrong with the engine! Cheers for ur help

Cheers for ur help ppl but it was wasted. I set of on my 72 mile journey and got to clacket lane services to have a jimmy riddle and ring the bloke up, his g/f answered and gave me better directions. Got a tad lost but found it in the end.Rung up once more to ask what the name of the pub was that we were meeting at (which id just that secound past) and she confirmed that it was the right one. But she goes on to say that her b/f had JUST accepted a cash price Oh well....72 miles of 'sing-a-long therapy' on the way home

Hi all.....im going to take a look at a twin turbo uk spec car tomoz but its done quite a few miles(120,000) I just want to know if theres anything i should look for (engine wise)!?! Also......if i decide its a good un ,what could i do to freshen the engine up and what kind of money it would be? Cheers Everyone

Well i did make it but i got there at 5 and not a supe iin sight I read on this post u may have gone to a pub iin hook so ii went cruisinig there to but still no bloody luck Hey....At least ii tried. Would b nice to meet u all:)

the no 2 speed sensor is near the gear box , u can reach it and clean it but it probably wont help u .....its all connected with the A.B.S set-up...... i caant really help much more because u need to do more testing to find out why the no 2 speed sensor is telling u theres a problem......

u can do the test urself using simple speaker wire....thaat'll giive u the code and theres aalot of info on the nz website... my guess iits the number two speed sensor...in fact im willing to take bets .....
