  1. Dude.. have I got some good news for ya..!! I've just bought a locking wheel nut removal tool for Volk Wheel nuts.. the one I have is a heptagon.. I don't know if thats the same..? The company I bought it from is called Prospec Motorsport Ltd.and they are based in london. The man to speak to id Shin Inoue and his email is. [email protected] hope this helps.
  2. AAAAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...!!! thats the funniest thing i've seen in ages... let me ask you... if you drove this to work... would your work mates take the piss..??
  3. All I can remember is it's called the Mpemba effect... Anyone remember from school the reasons..?
  4. I've got a set of Rays Volk wheels on mine I think they are magnesium too... With a bloody heptagon wheel nut on them and no key...!! I'm trying to get the special tool, but am I struggling to get one of thoses baby's or what..!
  5. Just what I thought... I went out to my car this morning armed with my FREE BP supplied scraper..... After one... Ssssccchhhhhhrrrrrrrsssshhh across the windsceen I was back in to get a can full of water (tepid of course). Is it right that hot water freezes before cold water..?? Go figure..?
  6. I've just worked out i'm doing about 21.5 MPG which is about 60 miles to a tenner.. I do a good mixture of driving town/urban/dual carriageway and don't really drive "too" hard. I noticed this morning in the snow, the fuel needle barely moved on the Jouney to work... so maybe I better slow down. Or take my wifes new 45MPG clio to work..... then again....!! Shame theres not more atractive girls working at petrol stations though.
  7. Whats the matter with you guys....!! I thought you all liked getting sideways..!! hahahaha... I drove in the 25 miles to work this morning out in the back of beond... Was a little scary at times. Thought the auto box was in neutral at one stage, then I turned the music down and could hear the wheels spinning...!Oops.. also had the wheels spinning at about 60-70 under aceleration. I think i'll slow down on the way home..!. Still at least i've got one way in one piece.! Hmmmmm what traction control anyway hahahaha
  8. I think unfortunately it may be just a coincidence. Maybe the clutch has just compounded the problem, but it sounds like a worn selector fork to me.
  9. Hi there... I would say in my experience. If your head gasket had gone, you would either have lost enough water to tell by now, or you would see water tipping out of the top up bottle overflow. The head gasket went on my wifes old Shogun 3.0 V6 and it had only a very slight leak. But you could always tell in a few days that the water level had gone down. If you get really paranoid about it, take it to a garage and they put a chemcal into the water system which changes colour if there is a leak. Sounds ok to me though... Fingers crossed for ya.!
  10. Hi Jason... just wanted to say.. nicest car ever..!!.. and red too.. i've got a long way to go... but love your style dude..!!
  11. At the risk of everyone laughing at me.. does the owner of the Red Supra in Max power etc grace these pages...??.
  12. Mine revs up to about 1500 - 1800 then drop after a couple of mins.. So you don't sound far out..
  13. Oh no I think there might be some truth ni this... My sister in law works there and she says they are not taking on any new policies only running with the old ones they have..? Go figure.!!
  14. See, am I good, or am I good..!! There you go Ad i'll split the money you saved with ya.. hahaha
  15. I think I only pay around £450 a year for my N/A mind you I am 33. I use Liverpool Victoria in Poole apparently they are import car specialists for insurance. Tesco's quoted me about £200 more.. So they might be worth a try.....?
