  1. i watch american hotrod but dont really like the american chopper. boyd comes across ok sometimes, but most of the time he seems to be a typical old git. letting charlie go and making his staff work to really strict deadlines on every project isnt the way. if my boss made me work even a little bit harder than what i do now, i would quit great program though and very entertaining, especially when they are doing a classic old car like the mustang or the vette..... awesome

    Pikey Attack!

whats with all the pikey hating. here's a joke to lighten the mood. what kind of key opens all doors?? ..... pikey i hate the stinky buggers too. luckily for me they dont venture into our ghetto as they would get molested by all the new age pikeys aka bosnian immigrants pmsl
  3. go for the older ones mate, they are a lot cheaper to run and with only basic 4ws, they dont go wrong so much
  4. nice mine was actually the model before that, but likewise modified. was great around tight corners etc. i could throw it anywhere and it would just grip and grip
  5. i would go for an old honda prelude, jap quality, jap reliability, fun to drive, bit of poke and cheap as chips. i had an auto one for a couple of years and absolutely loved it, i dare you to test drive one and say no
  6. bloody hell, how many posts have you got
  7. it was made in a toyota factory, not at a toyota dealership.... now if that stands as the same thing in your book, then good luck to you. i would rather deal with a mechanic who deals with these cars everyday and has been around them enough to be able to diagnose issues at the drop of a hat. dealerships have a turnover of employees who often go it alone after getting good at what they do hence the reason for spanner monkey issues as detailed above. my advice to you and anyone else who uses dealerships for servicing etc. is to find a good mechanic and stick with them. not only cheaper in the long run but a lot more convenient. i use powerhouse in derby and have done so for 3 years now. not only does the mechanic there fix the problem but he also explains to the nth degree what the issues with the car are and shows me the fix. i have learnt so much from him that i can often diagnose faults myself now and can just take it in and say i need this issue sorting..... somehow cant see toyota making the effort to do the same.
  8. true to a point, but what happens when an innocent person walks into town and gets glassed by a drunk knob head for no reason. kinda goes downhilll from there i say.
  9. well if you leave your car with a bunch of clowns...... what do you expect?? a medal???? i never use toyota cos i know what a bunch of fannies they are

    MGS4 for the PS3

well so long as the cut scenes dont last 3 hours per time like the last one, it should be another cracker
  14. a very good friend of mine joined the met police force a few years ago. he loved it at first and couldnt get enough. he even became a traffic cop. after 2 years i spoke to him again briefly and he confirmed that there were parts of the force that were corrupt and it wasnt just cops at the grass roots level. if an officer was corrupt then all of his team were, no two ways about it. at the end of the day we all take liberties if we can get away with it, cops are no different except for the fact that what they do effects peoples lives.
  15. nothing new there, i had the same issues with cops when i was a teenager. they break the law some many times trying to prove something that is untrue that it really grinds on me. luckily for me, i know my rights, have an education and can bat off any crap they give me. studying law at a' level helped. especially when some stupid front desk officer tried to give me some spew about how she couldnt release information about why my car was searched in my absence without a warrant citing the data protection act. i told her to cut the crap as she obviously did not know what the DPA meant. "you cant with hold information about me, from me you silly woman. now go and get me a more educated officer as you aint got a clue." soon got results now that i'm grown up, i still view the cops as a bunch of trumped up traffic wardens as that is all they seem to be doing nowadays.
