  1. ideally you want a 215 width on the front and 235 or 255 on the rear. profile wise 35 for 18's, 40 for 17's, 45 for 16's etc etc. if that makes any sense
  2. well 1k aint too bad, could of been worse like no deposit
  3. i hope he paid you a very good deposit mate
  4. 1993 by the looks of it. pricewise it's on auction so anything goes personally i dont like the way those rear quarter windows are covered up and those wheels..... it just doesnt look nice/ rice to me
  5. cant you order online from sainsburys or tescos or something?? will save you the journey next time
  6. rules are some people are ok with that and others arent. i found that if you moved in with a couple/ family then it was an issue whereas with single people it wasnt.
  7. i would say go for it. over the past 5 years i have been living away from home at various shared places. i guess i was lucky in that i got on with everyone i ever lived with. as much as always being invited to their parties and nights out. my last house mate moved to dubai and is now a very good mate, i just spent 10 days there at the end of november and his family treat me like one of theirs in as much as i have just spent xmas with them and am invited to all their family stuff like christenings etc my advice is to find a place you like and keep the peace, i.e dont run around like you own the place and dont take liberties. after that, everything is easy
  8. woooo hooooo..... im coming back up north a few days beforehand so i wont be affected

    Payday

my bank allows me to go into the red slightly for such mishaps. unarranged overdraft set at £1500. i dipped into it last month and got charged the hefty interest of 45p
  10. lol at you guys. i love the xmas period. i havent done any serious work since i came back from dubai at the beginning of the month my job is great
  11. nothing to buy for anyone really. parents are abroad and only got the one brother who dont really give a cr@p about xmas so went ahead and bought myself a sat nav unit so i dont get lost anymore. i've spent silly money on mods and cars this year so i think i should calm down a bit next year
  12. red is by far the best colour car i have ever owned. way better than the black and white mr2's i currently have red black white
  13. i dont know about that. if i had that much to spend, i would go for something sweet like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4595845396&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 supra tt aerotop couldnt even sell for 8k no reserve start price came with full veilside kit, 18's and custom leather
  14. could be worse.... i could be scottish
  15. 10 year olds are fine. it's when they get slightly older that they start messing with you proper. just be yourself, dont pay too much attention to her. let her do her own thing and occasionally throw her some conversation. she will get to like you over a period of time. quite a few of my friends have kids and although they start off dubious, having a nice car and just being cool helps break the ice
  16. i say stick it on your forehead...... i would just for reference, mine is on the left
  17. just read this, sucks big time dude. oh and you have to phone the insurance company every minute of every day to get it sorted. i remember when my mr2 was in a couple of years ago for an insurance repair to just the wing. they had it for 6 weeks or more and i had to check up on them everyday before i finally got a result. stick with it dude
  18. lol, name and shame. btw it wasnt me seeing as i own 2 mr2's
  19. i take it if you dont have an ebc, then it doesnt come with the bits to be used as one? i.e does it come with all the bits in the picture below? http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/2003/images/SBCi-Coler3-sm.jpg if it does, then i will have first dibs please
  20. sweet ride, been drooling over that for a few weeks now
  21. i was there but didnt know who you guys were so avoided you
  22. i can think of loads of better ways to spend my holidays.... trekking aint one of them...... or any of them come to think of it
  23. london sucks for traffic. the only time i ever managed to get anywhere during the day was by the tube. evenings were great though, you could cruise right into central london and even find parking spaces between 7-9pm on weekends..... those were the good ole days i tell ya
  24. man that sucks. i get jittery if someone owes me a £50.... let alone 50k
