  1. The snow has gone and although it's rather crappy rainy weather I decided that it was time to get out the Supe! Replaced the battery, checked the fluids and started her up. Quite a bit of white smoke to begin with but that went and so for the first time since November I'm out on the open road with my baby! God how I've missed it. Very happy chappy.

    Club stuff

How does one get hold of club clothing etc. I fancy a polo shirt but as usual I'm being thick and can't find how to order one.
  3. When I'm not in Sweden I'm in Notts but that's not often. Welcome anyway Supersonic!
  4. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/exptimpt.htm#Exports This part is easy. I have no idea about registering in Germany however.
  5. Buy the car in the UK and fill out the bit on the V5 that says permanent export. Get new lamps, register and MOT in Germany, job done. or? That's how I've done it before although not to Germany.
  6. As I'm in Sweden it would almost seem RUDE not to have my car done!!! As they say at Nike, Just It Do!
  7. Looks good! I imagine that it would look better assembled as it is rather than laying it over the top of the existing part cos you're probably going to be able to see gaps otherwise.
  8. Google earth doesn't work on my PC. Bummer. I think the graphics card is not up to scratch or something. :-(
  9. Does Chris do MOTs as well? I'm just wondering about the emissions and stuff cos I've got no cats and maybe he's more lenient in this regard?
  10. hmmm, I certainly haven't adjusted the brightness myself but I will check when I get home. As for the power, it's permanently plugged into the mains and hardly ever runs on the battery. Prognosis bad! It's only 6 months old and still in warrenty so I'll probably have to take it back to the shop. I just hate the thought of being without my PC! I must be addicted. Chineese rubbish!
  11. Hi Guys I've got a Fujitsu lap top and yesterday I switched it on to an almost blank screen. I can just about make out that it's working but no back-light. It's only six months old, can the light have busted so soon? or could it be a light stealing virus? Anyone else had this with theirs? :-(
  12. I had a V8 LTD for over five years and I loved it. Probably the most comfortable car I've ever been in. Broke down once due to faulty PAS pump which pissed into the alternator. Not expensive to fix. A real head turner and I still see it from time to time as I sold it to my brother. Slighty more expensive to maintain than my Supra. After I sold it I bought an XJ8, what a pile of poo that was. Sold that rapidly for the Supe but would defo have considered another Soarer.

    Db9

I love the DB9, a real beaut. There was a new Vantage at the hotel I was staying in at the weekend too and that looked awesome. No dice in it though.
  14. some stuff here on the specs tab. http://www.mkiv.co.nz/
  15. I don't know how much more power I got when I changed cos I never measured it before or afterwards. Not really bovvered what the figures are. What's important is haow the car responded after the cats removed and exhaust replaced. Much better throttle response and has transformed the car from a bit sluggish to quite nippy. The sound is also very pleasing but not too loud. DO IT!!
  16. When I lived in England of course I drove it every day. Garaging my pride and joy is one of the sacrafices I have to make to live here. (one of many!)
  17. LOL, at least you're alive to tell the tale Scoboblio! They should realise that Supra drivers have more discerning taste and nutters need not apply!
