  1. If you can get rid of it then do it! That's one of the reasons I bought the Mercedes so I can keep up with bloody VW Golfs on the Autobahn
  2. I must admit that I was living in a small town in the middle of nowhere. I haven't seen any in Germany yet.
  3. How many Supes are there in Sweden???? I lived there for six years and saw one!! Some nice looking ones in those pics.

I finally got to see this film last night and it's great. So great in fact that I wanted to make a back-up but it wouldn't work. I guess it has a tough encryption on it and DVD Shrink wouldn't touch it. Any one had any success with this film?
  7. I'm 40 and my Supra is ten this year I still have all my hair; I keep it in a box Life just gets better so stop worrying and get out there and enjoy life!
  8. I needed something with some boot space and double glazing so I bought a Mercedes S500 for my runabout.
  9. Nothing terrible but I decided I "needed" a more practicle car from time to time. Been smooching around and finally plumped (yes plumped is the right word) for a W140 Mercedes-Benz It feels very different to the Supe as you might expect but it's a very fine car. I can recommend one to anyone hankering after something with 4 doors and a boot.
  10. It looks lovely! However my cheque book isn't coming out of the drawer until they get around to building them. I'm getting really fed up with waiting, good job the MKIV is still such a great car.
  11. Bugger. Thanks for that Steve. Looks like I'll just have to buy another car for the Autobahns
  12. Hi guys and gals What's the deal with a speed de-limiter for a VVTi Automatic with the TipTronic function? I was lead to believe that there is no device that works properly on these cars. Is this still true? If there is such a device then I would be very interested coz then I can show these BMW drivers where to get off (I now live in Germany i.e. unrestricted roads, I wouldn't dream of breaking the law )
  13. You mean to remove the CAT I presume. You will get a performance improvement but hard to quantify how much. As for the MOT, it should pass in theory. However I've got the second CAT fitted and the emissions are way over. I don't know what's wrong but in the mean time...
  14. they said the sensor was fine but I'll have another look at it
  15. bad news I'm afraid. The Toyota guys couldn't get the emissions down either. They checked all the sensors but the CO was still 2.6%. They sent me packing with a bottle of fuel additive and told me to go for a thrash and come back tomorrow. Can't see it passing though to be honest. Any other suggestions???
  16. the guys at Toyota are going to check it over tomorrow so I hope they can solve the problem. If not...
  17. could be the sensor I guess. I will look at it and get it checked by Toyota.
  18. Bad news, the supe failed it's MOT on emmisions. The CO readings were way too high at 2.63% and not even close to a pass. The main cat was put back in . Any ideas to get it to pass as it is now an emergency!!!
  19. hmmm, it's the under body cat that I've got attached to a section of exhaust about 3 feet long.
  20. Hi The Supe is in for MOT and obviously there needs to be a cat in the system. I have the old cat, does this just bolt straight in position for the test to be done? or is it more complicated?
  21. ...and hello Germany! Time to move on to pastures new. Looking forward to better beer, warmer climate and chasing M3s I wonder what the girls are like
  22. I had to add all my contact again by hand. A little later they had gone again! Added them again and now OK but I still think Yahoo is miles better.
  23. I use Elephant who are cheap and also carry over my bonus for my other car, which is nice.
