Wonder what would happen if you fitted a Bee-R rev limiter on one of them

Do you do skylines as well? And how much would it cost to get door cards done at the same time? Cheers!

Yeah it does - for serious sam you really need a dedicated server pc to host though. -

Meh - all quite fun, but you want the daddy of all Co-op games - System Shock 2, that game is bloody fantastic with two people! -
I'm not a big fan of "keyboard warriors" but if someone did that to my car, and I had sufficent proof that it was them, their car wouldn't even enter my reasoning. No point damaging a crappy 306, only to have to deal with the inevitable tit-for-that repurcussions - you arrange for him to get properly messed up, its the only way he wont think of trying a similar stunt. Of course, you have a suitable set of witnesses ready to confirm that you were in a public place with them . . guess I really have been spending too much time with my Russian friends

That's good - wouldn't want it to go to waste! Incidentally - you have PM!
-
Probably a stupid question - but whats going to happen to the perfectly straight shell at the end of all this? Is someone going to buy a car thats had a bad side impact and transfer everything accross? Would it be cost effective to do so? Seems like a waste of a really nice car . .

I had my Corolla Tsport lowered on Fensport springs about a month ago, about a week ago I hit a speedbump at a full 30mph (unmarked and transitioning between tarmack and cobbles, so practically invisible ) Initially there seemed to be nothing wrong, but now the front half of the car squeeks under acceleration and deceleration, when going over bumps, hell it constantly squeeks. I thought I would ask on here if anyone has any ideas what could be causing this before I go to a dealer and get ready to be shafted - thanks for any help!

Live Gamertag: megalurcher - add me, I'm often playing PGR3!

Corolla Tsport - great car! now if only I could find someone who can actually do some mods to it . .

Does anyone know of a good exhaust place? I'm prepared to travel to get it done well. I'm after a new exhaust for a Corolla Tsport and I can't find any aftermarket ones at all I know free flowing exhausts are good for turbo cars, but is the same true of N/A ones?

So the man puts on a silly voice and maybe likes his cars a little too blinging, I would hardly consider him a twat for that. SonicSoop is entirely correct, he has done a huge amount for the music scene in England over the last 20 years. He is primarily a performer, and like any performer they have to get into a role to appeal to a target audience.

My personal favourite has to be a Kabab shop in Brighton called . . "Abbra Kababra"

If this is for the 200mph+ attempt Supra? Surely it would be better to keep the original, maybe with some modifications as it has been flow tested etc?

One thing to remember about the Blitz kit is that it sticks out alot, so when you have any kind of a down hill slope you get very little ground clearance. That makes it really really tricky to get over speedbumps, get in and out of multi story car parks etc. Ask MFS for some of his experiences with it!

Hummm I imagine you are refering to an earlier model of Supra if it's an '89. I suppose at that age it's not just the milage you have to consider, but you know the car better than anyone. If it's been properly serviced, garaged and never ragged from cold (not likely ) then I'd buy it for yourself/keep it for the family and have some fun with it. If the back half of the car is pure rust and the head gasket went 8k ago then sure - sell it to your motor enthusiast neighbours
-
Heh, no otherwise I would have called you to moan alot Seen a cheap Booster kit on Ebay and figured I would get it for the 'rolla as a Christmas present to myself
-
Anyone know of any? Would have gone to dude but . . Doesnt have to be in Brighton but within a reasonable distance - anyone? thanks!

To be honest I'm not a core team member, so I can't comment on the development that much. Well, actually I can, there is loads of gossip, but it would be very unprofessional for me to do so. I'm the lead designer for the portable versions of the game so I get alot of say in those versions and I get to comment on the console versions before release although I'm pretty sure they ignore me Suffice to say - I hate the "catchup" gameplay mechanic so common in modern driving games. In my opinion its a cheap fix gameplay hack that hides badly balanced gameplay. It isnt needed if the designers are doing thier job properly. The real problem is that in order to market games to a mainstream audience they need to make them as easy as possible without making it pointless for more experienced gamers. Catchup solves that problem and its easy to implement in a rushed development shedule, but in my opinion lessens the final product significantly, and you can quote me on that

With regards to the "catchup" features shown in NFS:Most Wanted, I argued right up until the last moment that we should base the difficulty level on the players performance in previous races. Once the race itself began the AI would perform to their maximum ability, no stupid slowing and speeding up and hopefully a very fair but challenging difficulty curve. But the man from Vancouver - he say NO! So I sulked alot, but I'm heading over to Canada on Sunday to put the smack down on them (with vast amounts of alcohol drinkage)

Unless you have a serious net connection or live under an ISP it won't be fast enough for a Battlefield server. Best bet is to book a server, there are a couple of places that let you do it for free, if its popular you can rent a server for 40 quid a month.

My Battlefield tag is MickyXL - usually play on the Multiplay/Jolt and Eurogamer servers. WoW my character is on the DragonBlight server and is called Lenin (dont ask ).

Your "friend" will have to prove that he had just picked up and wasn’t intending to supply. Shouldn't be too hard really, as he won't have the trappings of being a dealer, eg: baggys, huge amounts of cash, etc. If he can prove he has full time employment then that’s a big bonus. If he drops the person he scored off in it, then that’s his get out of jail card, might not be a very safe idea though. Tell him to get a good solicitor and he'll get off with a fine, probably not a very large one as it's a first offence. I certainly know a lot of people in much worse situations who have escaped a jail term. The court won't be able to use his previous banning for any offence relating to drugs and the driving without insurance etc will not be treated as a serious offence, 500 quid fine maximum and a ban extension, maybe less. I seriously dislike people who drive without insurance and the current laws are a farce, but then again so are the ridiculous antiquated laws relating to drugs in this country . . :thumbdown

This gives a very very rough translation, but can be used to get the gist of what they are talking about: http://translation2.paralink.com/ Would require alot of cutting and pasting though and I don't think you would be able to conduct any really meaningful conversation with it.
