Iam looking for a Passat 1.9 tdi(130) estate Sport or an A6 with the same engine, pref manual and i want to spend under 3K....so maybe an 02-03 model:) I've seen loads on the net and so many that have been clocked by European neighbours:( And iam not overly put off with the 100k+ miles, just it must have a full service history and in good order. Fingers crossed.

I Use a big rubber club hammer, the ones you would use to knock a wooden stake into the ground.(from a camp shop) Hit the wheel from the inside edge at 12-3-6-9 o clock and keep the wheel rotating whilst doing this. once off clean both hub and wheel with a wire brush then coat in copper grease to prevent any further problems. I would have a Transit all day long!! with so many options in load, size and power train derivatives it's a no brainer. Transit has been the class leader for years now.

There shouldn't be any play at all, flex yes(unless you have uprated bushes like the neoprene one's), but no play. Remember the small amount of play you feel when checking for play will be massive in what you feel through the suspension when driving, especially if it affects camber, caster or toe.

He right they will fit a Turbo supe But this is for an N/A ...note the batt sign and not a Turbo one. other than that lovely dials and imho your always better using a seperate guage to read turbo boost. Free Bump!
