  1. Yeah not too bad. Very tempted!
  2. Hi, Nathan here, Terrible turners mate. Just to give some food for thought this is a very nice mod which although quite pricey will really put a lot of other cars to shame. http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/engine%5Fperformance%5Fproducts/NSX/ScienceofSpeed/custom%5Fengine%5Fprogram/custom%5Fengine%5Fprogram/ Check the bottom of the page for the largest conversion. Also check out the power figures at the bottom of the link below: http://www.scienceofspeed.com/special%5Fprojects/3.8L%5Fassembly%5FPart2/ Hmmmm . . . I can feel a hole being burnt in my pocket!
  3. Im in Tring/Chalfont St Peter, depending on work etc. Its black (Surprise surprise), its off the road for a few months while i pay off another car to use day to day, the supra is modded far to much to use a daily driver now, should be back on the road in a few months. There is a few people in wycombe now with supras i think. Might get a bucks meet sooner than we think
  4. Yeah it's a j-spec, sorry didnt realise it was a UK, im sure someone on this board must be in a similar situation as you with a Uk spec, they bound to be along any..........minute..............now
  5. I had a similar set up a while back, set boost limit to 1.2, and they blew when i hit that. i would stick to 1.1 if your running standard ceramics unless you have the money to get hybrids/single just in case.
  6. Mine was very squeaky at first, much mroe of a chirp than a sound you would normally associate with a BOV, over time this changes due to what i would think is the valve being less stiff. Also sounds better at higher boost lvl dumps.
  7. Hi all, I did a search but on the 5 pages of threads i couldnt find the answer i was looking for Im gonna try the J-Spec light clean/Update this weekend, if things go completely pair shaped i will get a new pair of facelift lights, I understand that these dont have the sidelights in and the wiring is not compatible with pre 96 cars, does anyone have a way round this as i much prefer these to the glass lights.
  8. are you running stock turbos?, looks like an issue with no 2, maybe the butterfly valve isnt opening properly allowing it to spool up properly. I had the opposite issue where it was bent open and no 2 overboosted and blew itself up lol. Then again this might be complete nonsense....acknowlege at your own risk
  9. Hi all, I ordered these a long time ago to match the blitz indiglo dials i had although i never got round to fitting them. Ill be doing so this weekend and if you like i can take pics etc and write an install if anyone wants it, if not ill just get on with it, let me know. Ill also be doing a sub box/amp install at the same time so comment if you want one for that also, although im sure there are lots on here already. Cheers Mark
  10. ive had this happen to me before, put your foot down and it took a few secs for it to go anywhere, check all vacumn hoses, that fixed it in my case. Mark
  11. cheers all, turns out it was the jump leads that were faulty, brand new as well. Dont make um like they used to
