Think it might be time to burn this thing then! Countless clean installs and resets have done nothing to solve the problem. Since upgrading the keyboard response has been very laggy, some E-mails crash when trying to reply meaning you have to compile all over again, and Safari locks up and home-screens more times than I care to mention...very frustrating to use compared to pre iOS5.0.1

How do you find the 3GS runs on iOS 5.1 whether jailbroken or not? It's ruined my 3GS making it slow and prone to crashing, which it never did on iOS4.**. I wish there was an easy way to roll back.

I know we have a few media types on here so it might be worth a stab. I'm trying to get copies of the photo session I had done for a feature in PVW from 2004. Wondering if anyone on here has any contacts they could put me in touch with to achieve this. Tried the usual channels but heard nothing yet. Any help would be great

You might need to get a wriggle on John, it's MOD land so time is needed to do security checks. I believe the GTROC is closing registration after this weekend, don't know about the MLR guys.

The rotary valve concept is not as new as you would think. IIRC there were some aircraft engines using a variation of the system in the 30's, possibly even earlier. You can currently buy small displacement engines and RC motors that use a rotary type valve system; type RCV engines into Google for more on it. I remember reading about it being tested by an F1 manufacturer during the golden 80's. Don't ask me who, but I don't think it ever made it into racing. CW might know.

I've been looking at a few exhausts lately but they all seem to sound a bit 'farty' to me. And if you're thinking about reflash, I hear the FVD Brombacher stuff is meant to be good.
