275 35and 285 35are the recommended fitment on a 10" rear by dusty at mvp - your only concern is the offset of the wheels and whether the tyres will rub at all (I think). There was a link to a tyre size calculator posted on here a few weeks ago i think it is on mkiv.com.

Hi all - I am J spec tt 6sp with the jap brakes but am upgading the fronts to uk specs via cj's group buy. Question for normal and fast road driving what does everyone recommend - seems to be CW's road pads against the porterfields...
