Ok I have a j spec full decat. Had a cw restrictor ring in and was over boosting went to leons and now have a smaller 45 mm ring and am only getting 0.9 bar max boost pressure - my question is this... If i fit a boost controller and set it to say 1.2 bar will i be able to use a larger restrictor ring - as i liked the improved sensitivity of the turbos with the cw one i think it was 51mm. Sorry if this is a stupid question

I sound like a broken record - but Dusty says... Gram lights - quality and strength not good. If you want a light wheel te37 or le37k - have a look on mvp website for pics. both around 18lbs for 9.5 18" wheel i think. The same ones on the top secret cars and on prospec skyline - nuff said. I was gonna get these but i got seduced by the dark side of the force and got the gtc split rims instead...

Dude - how much do you charge for the helium ? will it make my cars tire roar higher pitched ?

Have just cleaned my car with Meguiars gold shampoo and waxed with gold wax. V good finish to the wax not quite as shiney as zymol but less streaky and no dust on removal ! 10=good 1=bad WAX FINISH EASE DUST Turtle 5 6 8 Zymol 8 7 7 Meguiars Gold 8 4 10 What does everyone else use - and how do you find it ?

I don't have a restrictor in at the mo - but have one for fitting from CW based on the 1.2 bar info above so I hope it will be ok - am sure Leon will sort me out.

No Boost controller - just my foot and my Defi beeping ! If I am at 1.2 bar anyway I cant see the point of a boost controller - don't want to restrict and then raise boost ? Am going up to Leon this afternoon to get 1st cat out CW restrictor ring and fuel pump done - and I feel some clear front indicators coming on...

I still have my first cat in but with an HKS/TDI second cat pipe and a Veilside exhaust. I had 1.2 bar boost in 3rd in the cold weather and 1.2 in 4th now - any other combos of decat pipe and exhaust and the boost you get ? I'm guessing that this is high boost for 1 cat still in and due to the lagre dia. straight piping (of my bits)

Surely an m3 can't be as hard on rear tyres as a tt supra - less torque - less weight

I like my wing - and fancy a trd one... But I see a dark green wingless supe on the way to work some days - its got big multi spoke wheels and looks like a db7 at a glance - class. I think wing = ricer, but i like em both ways.

The title says it all. Front mount - looks nice - seems inefficient ie covers rad and is not well sealed to the bumper. So is a CW side mount a better bet for a road car - even on a single turbo - as long as it is not running too high boost. Opinions please.

I have gold ones at the mo. and was gonna get some gold volks but have now ordered black and silver wheels so wanted to change to a black badge as well.

At that price point you have to allocate most of the money to the front 3 speakers - but of probably more importance is the electronics you are running them off - your processor and source will make a huge difference. At that price point the best speakers i have heard for music are by totem. My advice is to buy a front pair based on music reproduction as this is the most difficult to reproduce accurately then match a centre, then rears and then save up again a buy a good sub - rel, m&k, b&w etc. Full scale orchestral music and female vocals are the best demo stuff. Home cinema is the (2nd) Coolest thing !!!
