  1. New car - yep - probably my girlfriends old golf!!! Need something cheaper, and not driving it so much any more, seems a shame to leave it sitting in the garage when someone else could be enjoying it...
  2. Thanks mate - spent a lot of time and money getting it just the way I wanted, but alas all good things come to an end, so time to say goodbye. Still I'm sure someone else will enjoy...

  4. Prob speak to Terry S or maybe CW re cam choice
  5. Cut a long story short, my car died on the way to Le Mans - on the M20 I had to abandon it at Matt Harwoods in Maidstone. Matt took the car in and worked on it in his spare time for 2 weeks before finding and sorting a boost leak. So a massive thanks to Matt for all your help and hard work. Also a massive thanks to Martin at Mkivstore for sending Matt a replacement e manage (at an unbeatable price;) ). Finally thanks to Ian C for tech support(as usual) I never cease to be amazed at the help, support, and expertise that some members on this board provide. Many thanks guys
  6. Chris - just out of interest how much is an inconel one?
  7. That is nice, I really think stock with a lip spoiler is the best. But another supra with my wheels
  8. Sold to him. (we need a 2 Ronnies smiley)
  9. No pics in boot but it does fit well. My car has had a stroke and is being cared for by Dr Harwood at the Sexstons Clinic so cannot even put it together for pics. The space saver fits fine.
  10. Thats sad - I have the Veilside - had it on for 2 years no probs so far. Sounds great, weighs nothing. I bet its going to break now...
  11. I have a CW one which I am happy with, although I did not notice any real difference over my stock one it is nice to know it is working efficiently for the hot weather. Re Pauls ones it is nice to have more options - uprated, downrated or unrated. Perhaps we could have a special Alex rating where he gives his opinion on new products.
  12. Still available - need to get rid of these to make room in garage. Mdf box to fit rear of car, false boot floor, side panels to hold amp etc. Comes with Alpine R type 10" sub. Alpine Class D digital power amp, and Alpine 6 disc CD changer. Must Go.
  13. I can confirm the burnout - very nice
  14. Will post some pics up soon. I went with my brother in law and his mates who are seasoned Le Mans veterans. There is a closed Chinese restaurant on the Mulsane straight where you can get right up to the track edge - pitch black, totally silent, 1 am in the morning and the cars come past at 200mph - most amazing experience. But my F**ing car is still broken!!!
  15. Was just crusing on the M20, it missed a couple of times, then just total loss of power - like igniton had been cut. Pulled onto hard shoulder. Re started it but running mad rich. limped over to Matts behind the AA van. So far Matt has had no luck in tracing the problem - which probably means its going to get more and more expensive when we eventually find the problem...
  16. Just got back from Le Mans - what a fantastic trip, except for 1 small hiccup... My car broke After getting a full service, CW fast road suspension, CW SMIC, CW fast road pads & UK brakes, new O2 sensor, wideband, e manage mapped by Ian C. Washed and waxed car. I set off and promptly broke down on the M20, and ended up going in my brother in laws Passat. A massive thanks to Ian C who helped get me to Matts, and an even bigger thanks to Matt who took the car straight in and has been looking after it ever since. and
  17. Ok for clarification. I had UK front and rear brakes fitted - the latter by CW. Following this I had a little pulsing sensation - intermittantly when braking. I spoke to CW who suggested that maybe the hub centric rings used to locate the wheels were incorrectly sized. I ordered some replacements from ENVY. The car went to pheonix for some other bits and they fitted these at the same time. Mark comented that indeed the old rings did not fit well and the new ones were perfect, and in fact the same ones that Terry S had used (he has the same wheels as me) THE PROBLEM HAS NOW BEEN RESOLVED
  18. Mines loud since I removed all the boot trim, and the back seat!
  19. I think it is to do with how the wheel face mates to the hub, so its not brake judder per say, but feels similar. I'm sure someone techie can give a better explanation,
