  1. The Garage in Wishaw are doing the work. Marc was down at TOTB tho, so he wasn't working on the car. He was supposed to do it, but there was a screw up with the booking.
  2. RLTC here too. I love it. Although I've had it off for the past week and it's not really bothered me not having it.
  3. Are those metal fin things on the bumper legal? They look pretty dangerous! Nice car though
  4. I know there shouldn't be any problem Andy, but they did a few bushes on Thursday and left me without ABS and RLTC. I think they didn't connect up an ABS sensor right. The job should be finished this Thursday though. The same place sounds good to me!
  5. Call in a sickie Hamish Andy, my car is getting a load of new bushes fitted on thursday, so as long as that goes smooth then it would be great to meet ya on the way up!
  6. Anyone going to Crail on Sunday for the Thrash day? I think I might head up!
  7. Sorry it's taken me so long to get the individual weights for the rear control arms. But here they are 52271-14080 0.8 Toyota Rear Mount Bush 52205-14040 1.4 Toyota Rear Mount Bush RR-RH 52206-14030 1.4 Toyota Rear Mount Bush RR-LH 52272-14040 Toyota Rear Upper Mount Bush 48770-19025 1.6 Toyota Rear Upper Arm - RH 48790-19025 1.6 Toyota Rear Upper Arm - LH 48780-14030 0.8 Toyota Rear Lower Link 48730-14040 2.2 Toyota Rear Lower Arm - RH 48740-14070 2.2 Toyota Rear Lower Arm - LH 48725-14070 Toyota Rear Lower Arm Bush 41651-14020 Toyota Rear Diff Case Bush No.2 41651-14010 0.6 Toyota Rear Diff Case Bush No.3 45503-39095 0.5 Toyota Tie Rod Inner The parts I missed out were just little bits of rubber which weigh nothing. One thing though, the car was in the garage getting some of the parts fitted yesterday and the guys there said I was missing a couple of bits. They've recommended I get the rear drop links and anti roll bar bushes, since these are only small bits and should definately get replaced since I'm doing everything else. Hope this helps and sorry again about the delay!
  8. As title says really. Anyone got part number/s for the rear drop links? Cheers!

    Fast Mini

Not sure if it's been posted before, but I wouldn't mind a shot of one of these! old mini 0-60 3.4secs , 0-100 4.9 http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/mini-single.htm
  10. Great question! If they're quick and easy to fit and make a big difference I'll have 30 too.
  11. My girlfriend loves it for the "arty way it's shot"
  12. I weighed them today, but left the sheet of paper in the garage. In total all the rear parts were around 18kg. I'll post the details tomorrow.
  13. Increasing the pressure a little could improve your fuel consumption... On the other hand, the more grip the better
  14. It feels like I have more grip at the rear using 32, rather than 34.
  15. Everything still has the part number stickers on mate. I'll get them weighed tomorrow
  16. Nic, I have all the rear control arms if you want me to weigh one of them. Might give you a rough idea. Would only work if they are similar sizes I guess.
  17. Nic: Can you PM me the price for the front TRD bushes? I'm interested in how much more expensive they are compared to new control arms. I've already bought all the rear parts you recommended. Either way, I'll be buying from you at those prices
  18. I picked up everything Nic listed for the rear today, from my local Toyota dealer. Can't wait to get them fitted

    Rsr

I think so. Here's what MVP say: Maximum power, minimal weight and racecar inspired design have all come together to create the ultimate performance exhaust, the GT2. GT2 exhaust systems are designed with the straightest possible piping route. The exhaust fumes make their way through 80mm piping and are expelled from the 101mm tip of the polished SUS 304 stainless steel canister. The GT2 exhaust system also incorporates an innovative slip fit design, where flanges are eliminated, and the pipes are connected with springs instead. By using the slip fit design, clearances are improved and exhaust flow is increased.
  20. I didn't know they did a rear kit, but I see MVP are selling the full kit. How big a job would it be to replace all the bushes?
  21. Could be the bushes on the control arms are worn. You can't replace the bushes themselves though, only the full arms.
