    Turn the stereo up louder It's actually pissing me off. It sounds like the wheel is actually shaking a tiny amount when I'm driving, but when jacked up it's rock solid. There's also a wind-type noise coming from the wheel which I have no idea what it is.

    A boost controller can only increase boost, not lower it. So you need the restrictor ring to limit boost to 1.2 or else you could see boost spikes which could damage your turbos.

    I've got a drivers side thud as well. So far I've replaced the shocks and all the control arms and bushes, but it's still there.

    Supraforums.com always seems to be full of kids talking about how their daddy is going to buy them a supra then let them turn it into 1000bhp for their first car.

    Yeah we do, but I'd rather have something a little different to the supra. Good idea with the Quattro guys!

    Can anyone suggest a cheap, reliable, 4 wheel drive car for when the weather turns nastier in winter up here in Scotland? Something around £2k would be great. I've had a look on autotrader and pistonheads and Subarus can be picked up pretty cheap, although I dunno how reliable they would be at that price. Any other suggestions?

    I got mine dyno'd at Dastek, who were pretty good.

    If you are using the same settings that came with it then it will need updated with a new dat file.

    Most people will tell you there is no reason to add an induction kit, other than the noise it makes. Some of them can be quite harmful too, letting a lot of crap into the engine!

    My front wing is rubbing against the bumper which is causing a chittering noise from the front....

    If you are driving with a heavy right foot it will come on earlier, since you are using up the petrol faster.

    I'm gonna call my insurance company on monday to see what they say about a boost controller. Failing that hopefully winter will bring me back to 1.2 bar! terribleturner, what do you think of your GReddy Profec Boost Controller?

    Have it set to take in fresh air from outside and set it to blast the windscreen. Should clear up fast if you have it on full heat.

    I guess it is the weather that's affecting my boost then. I'll need to look into a boost controller, although I guess I can wait till spring now that winter is drawing closer.

    Yeah I got one off Chris Wilson. Well that's a lie, I bought 4, cos the double decat I bought wouldn't meet the catback pipe, so I used the 4 restrictor rings to extend the pipe a little.

    I think I'll take the car out tonight if it's cold and see if that makes any difference. Then if it does I'll look into getting a controller or bleed valve

    I don't have a controller or bleed valve. When I got my decat and exhaust fitted last November I was hitting 1.2 bar without needing anything else...

    Ok this may seem a bit of a silly question... All summer I've been having problems hitting 1.2bar, whereas before summer I had no problem. I've had hoses on and off a dozen times trying to find a boost leak, but to no avail. Then it clicked today... Maybe I'm only seeing 0.8 - 1 bar because it's warmer just now. So do you BPU guys see a difference in boost levels when the outside temperature changes?

    I used sticky foam pads, double sided tape and some superglue. I gave up trying to get them flush after an hour. They're still stuck on though

    Was the traction control kicking in? The standard one cuts in very hard!
