  1. Where did you buy yours from Ewen?
  2. Hmm ok... For anyone who has one: Do they attract a lot of attention from police?
  3. I did a quick search but couldn't really find a definitive answer... Are stick on, correctly sized, number plates legal?
  4. Toyota sell the drop links for around £40 each I think.
  5. The slight problem is that the stock ones have 3 screw holes, but all after market ones have 4 holes. Just use self tapping screws and screw the speaker directly into the speaker bracket. It isn't really a problem.
  6. I had a couple sets of chrome ones stolen, so now I just use standard black ones. The same set have been on the car for around a year now.
  7. "Downloadable speed camera database" Do you need to pay for that?
  8. Is that the one which sits on a bit of cardboard, inside the usual wrapper?
  9. Like the title says, who is the best to sign up to, for a year of breakdown recovery cover? AA, RAC or another one?
  10. I had them but both mine broke too. They are around £100 to replace, so I haven't bothered. The only time I miss them is when I have the window down and use the windscreen skoosher and it drips into the car.
  11. Unscrew the long bar and attach the black parts to the car. Then you can fit the bar onto the black bits easily enough. It's a pain to do it without seperating them first.
  12. They are £68 each from Toyota, plus VAT...
  13. What would be the best material to use for an intake?
  14. Ok here's a front view: and a side view of inside the bumper:
  15. But surely the ducting is designed to match up with the hole in the stock bumper perfectly? Right now my ducting sits a few inches behind and a little to the left of my aftermarket bumper. So if air takes the easy way through then surely it will just go around the ducting instead of into it.
  16. 1. I got a metal skewer and had a poke at it last night. It just crumbled away which can't be good. 2. Thinking about the same thing myself 3. It would help suck in cold air, but it would also get filthy and soaking wet from rain.
  17. I'm just wondering if the air is going straight around the intake now that it doesn't match up perfectly with the bumper... It makes sense in my head
  18. I have an Abflug Type 2 bumper on my car and was having a look at the smic yesterday. I noticed that the intake is a few inches behind the bumper and a little to the side. Is there any way to increase the suize of the intake so it matches up properly with the hole in my bumper? What would be the best material to use? Cheers!
  19. Right now I have a double decat pipe, with a CW restrictor ring. When it's really cold I hit 1.2 bar no problem. But when it's a warm day I only hit 0.8 bar. Are these numbers normal, or does the big difference in boost in relation to outside temperature indicate my intercooler is past its best?
  20. Mine is inside the armrest, behind the gearstick.
  21. I couldn't believe how heavy that sub box was! But it must be there for a reason. Maybe to keep the frame stiff?

    Insurance

I'm with Lancaster, but switching to Sky when my year runs out next week.
  23. DShox, the wheel doesn't move at all when the car is jacked up, so I don't think it's the wheel bearing. I've also replaced the drop links and anti-roll bar bushes, so it's not them. If you can move one of your wheels when the car is in the air then it sounds like a wheel bearing problem.
  24. Yeah they don't have an underseal, cos the japs dont use salt on their roads. I got mine done when I bought the car. Cost around £80.
