  1. You can have that programmed on to most alarms with the addition of a relay and a solenoid.
  2. I've seen far too many V10s blow up from oil deprivation at high RPM to put me off them for life! Why not go for the V8 biturbo? They seem to be a lot more reliable, in comparison.
  3. I don't think the issue is with the ballasts. You can no longer diverge from the manufacturer's specifications. I.e. if your car came with halogen lights from factory, you have to stick with halogen lights. What you are referring to with the headlight washers used to be acceptable but has since been superseded.
  4. Isn't this a good thing? I.e. value appearing to appreciate.
  5. This is the sort of thing that puts me off, every single time...
  6. Probably something you have tried already but I had the ABS light come up on the dash of one of my previous Supras, and I can't remember why I disconnected the battery, but I did, and lo and behold, the light went off and my TC started working again! Didn't have any issues with it until I sold it many years later. Maybe I got lucky or perhaps, they actually just freak out for whatever reason and go in to a 'safe mode' of sorts, like a computer?
  7. What an interesting character. Still making speculative statements and using inflammatory language to force your opinion on others. I thought you said you blocked me? Did you miss me or is your obsession with me reaching new heights? Should I be concerned? Anyway, back to the topic, I ran a cheap ebay manifold on one of my old Supras and guess what? It "disintegrate[d] and ruin[ed] [my] brand new turbo and all [my] fancy new shiny bits and [my newly built] engine". How's that for "actual experience"? Or are you the only one with all the experience in the world? Sorry if I offended you, your royal highness. As for losing me "a sale", I've known the OP for almost a decade and I'm sure he will be able to arrive at his own conclusions and make his own mind up rather than being influenced by someone who thinks he is a know-it-all.
  8. I'll be replacing mine soon but it will come with an aftermarket diffuser attached to it...
  9. Usually boy racers in their Peugeots, Citroens, Vauxhalls, etc trying to line up on the motorway...
  10. So, basically, buy cheap fleabay Chinese imitation steel that can and will fail at any moment, disintegrate and ruin your brand new turbo and/or all your fancy new shiny bits and/or your engine?
  11. I may have my Precision 6262 kit up for sale soon...
  12. You ought to advertise that it comes with 'full forum history' by the looks of it...
  13. Update So, ran a hose over the car today and there were absolutely no signs of any seepage. I also had the car running for over an hour with the AC on full blast and, again, there were no signs of a leak. Also, as far as I can tell, the coolant level is full, so I'm pretty much out of ideas now...
  14. Speak to Tony over at DMS Automotive - [email protected] or Rick at Unicorn Developments - [email protected]
  15. This is where the Blackvue and Thinkware are in a league of their own.
  16. I think armageddon is upon us and the world is coming to an end. On a positive note, I'm selling some of this US air in used nitrous bottles.
  17. I think it was raining the day I noticed it... I'll have a look over the weekend. Maybe run a hose over the seals and see if it starts seeping through...
  18. If you do decide to proceed with an order from abroad, do not forget to factor in the applicable import tax. I've known people who have ended up with huge import tax bills that they had not accounted for and suffice to say, it wasn't a particularly pleasant experience.
  19. With a syvecs you wouldn't really lose much money on resale as they sell like hot pancakes. Also, it future proofs your set up should you decide to go single further down the line.
  20. Agreed, it largely depends on the individual's appetite for risk. Personally, I wouldn't go over 900hp on a standard bottom end, admittedly, this is a risk, albeit calculated. But then again, going BPU is also a calculated risk...
