  1. This is a joke. Here's how this is likely to play out: 1. Toyota starts manufacturing these parts in small quantities 2. Toyota then makes losses as the manufacturing costs of these parts far outweighs the profits they generate 3. An executive somehwere in Japan decides to pull the plug on the project as it is deemed uneconomical to continue. What I don't quite understand is the rationale behind the parts they are proposing to start remanufacturing first? Who the hell wants a door handle when their gearbox is broken? It's like Toyota threw all the discontinued parts in a jar, mixed it up, then started pulling them out at random...
  2. Speak to Shervin on the forum, he's the alarm wizard.
  3. It does look amazing! Where are you getting the seats done, as I may be looking to get mine done soon...
  4. The customary questions every Supra owner should get/be used to are: 1- "is it a manual"; followed swiftly by 2- "is a thousand horsepower". In that order. Part and parcel of Supra ownership around the world I'm afraid.
  5. If you must, maybe just throw a jacket or a cloth over it?
  6. As a 'gear shifting ape', I quite enjoy the luxury of an automatic transmission. One thing is for sure, the automatic transmission is such a pleasure to drive when compared to the mechanical clunkiness that is the manual transmission. Some would even go as far as saying the automatic box is more suited to the Supra, especially the later tiptronics. Ultimately, it's your pride and joy, so don't let others bog you down.
  7. Ah, thanks Frank. I'll give Lee a shout and update the thread.
  8. Looking for 2x new or used Heckler PCBs for my rear fog lights... Anyone know why/if he has actually stopped making these?
  9. Thanks David. The first link appears to be more suited to a Soarer? Notwithstanding, it's also quite an old advert so it's probably safe to assume that it would have sold by now. As for the second link, I'm not a fan of the Voltex wings, I prefer the curved look of the APRs.
  10. I am happy with either really. There are a few things I need to consider with both options, namely; cost, condition and availability. Having said that, the immediate availability of a used one would probably be most appealing I think...
  11. I don't mind that actually. At least I shouldn't lose any significant power running it permanently!
  12. So the VVTI effectively has 1 cat rather than 2? The second is just for show? Lol
  13. No, it's a TT VVTI 6 speed. I've heard the UK cats are more expensive but I don't know whether there is any truth in that statement. Part numbers attached bud.
  14. Don't get me wrong, there's still a ridiculous lead time and you have to pay for the parts in advance but it appears that at least the prices have become more reasonable. Drop me a PM if you don't have any joy with your local dealership tomorrow and I'll send you my contact's details.
  15. I just had a very reasonable quote from my local dealership at ~£300... in fact, I was told I could have the 2nd cat along with the rest of the exhaust back for ~£1200!
