I'm not too clued up on the GE engines but I would imagine you would have needed to upgrade the head gasket at some point to handle the extra pressure, anyway... so don't beat yourself up too much bud, you did the right thing. Blowing your head gasket could have been catastrophic, losing a few ponies for a short while is a walk in the park by comparison. -

Genuinely feel for you buddy. We've all been there and from my own experiences, it's not very pleasant. I'm doing some modifications at the moment and if I end up removing some of the aforementioned bits, I'll give you a shout. -

Speaking of which, am I the only one who noticed the front bumper move around as if it were loose on the driver's side during the scene? To be honest, the first time I heard of the show or indeed GWG was when this episode was being billed on the forum...

If it were merely storage I would be inclined to suggest that a cardboard box would suffice. However, as you say there is also a transportation need, I'm not so sure. Perhaps, worst comes to worst, a cardboard box and plenty of bubble wrap or other equivalent shipping materials may do the trick?

I don't think this will have any noticable affect on the market in the long run. Those naive enough to go around looking to buy £8k Supras will quite quickly find out they can't, which will also inadvertently have the effect of detracting from the show's credibility.

I've realised they tend to stock items in store that aren't listed on their website, which is rather bizarre, in this day and age. Is it a transportation issue, i.e do you need to transport them somewhere or is it simply for safe storage?

Have you tried Safestore? They usually stock some on the shelf... not 100% on the available sizes though.

You can still get the exhaust from Toyota, I would however suggest you contact Paul at TCB as he will likely be able to give you a better quote than your local dealership. Good luck with the airbox... they're as rare as hen's teeth and cost upward of £350 if you are so lucky to even find one! The rest shouldn't be too hard to source with a little effort and persistence...
